‘Pump Rules’: Brock Davies Felt Like He Abandoned His Kids
On Tuesday night’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, Brock Davies shared that he hasn’t seen his two children in years. Lala Kent and Randall Emmett looked at him in shock. As for Scheana Shay, she says he already knows his story. While it may look bad to outsiders, it’s complicated.
Brock shared that his ex and her family cut him out of his life. It’s the reason why he hasn’t seen his children in years. However, some are uncertain about Brock’s situation. Both fans and castmates see him as a deadbeat father.
Now, the Australian is sharing his side of the story.
Vanderpump Rules star speaks out after he hasn’t seen kids in four years
Fans were hoping that Scheana Shay found her happy ending. She seems a lot calmer and grounded these days. Then, Brock Davies and Scheana Shay’s relationship took center stage in the recent episode of VPR. At the start of the episode, the group got ready for their first-ever pickleball tournament.
Scheana needed help with her baby. She looked around the room for Brock, who was already at pickleball practice. Scheana’s mother couldn’t help but notice that Brock hasn’t been helping out with their baby. Brock and Scheana’s mom got into a heated discussion later on.
Brock Davies took to Instagram to share the details on the situation with his two kids. This came after he admitted in the episode that he hasn’t seen them in four years. He doesn’t want to look bad since it’s his first time on the show. So, he decided to share his story with the world.
“Back in 2019… A little understand if it helps…” Brock Davies wrote in his Instagram Stories alongside a video titled The American Dream. “I love my family and I wish I was in a position to handle myself differently.”
The personal trainer explained why he moved to America. He revealed that his parents separated when he was a young boy. Brock always wanted to become a professional football player. He moved to America to make his family proud of him.
While he doesn’t see a future in professional sports, he made a conscious choice not to return to Australia. He won’t return until he makes his children proud. Brock ended up owning a gym and was recruited on the USA Men’s National Rugby League Team. However, his career was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Brock Davies admits that it feels like he abandoned them
The Vanderpump Rules newbie admitted later on in the episode that he “felt like a badder husband because I felt like I did abandon them.” Brock Davies claims he was the one who made the decision to move to the U.S. He also recalled the “last time I saw my kids,” saying “I remember them laughing and then I drove them up to Denver airport and I got a photo saying goodbye to them both.”
The buff guy got emotional during his confessional. On his Instagram Stories, Brock expressed his gratitude for everyone in his life. He also thanked his fiance, Scheana, and his followers.
“I am thankful for my kids. I am thankful for my family. I am thankful for the support of loved ones,” Brock Davies wrote. “I am thankful for change. I am thankful for tough times. I am thankful for life’s lessons. I am thankful for my fiancĂ©e. I am thankful for my health. And I’m thankful for y’all.”
Brock shares two children, son Eli and daughter Winter. Back in March, Brock and Scheana welcomed their first daughter together, Summer. Lisa Vanderpump teased that their relationship will continue to get attention this season. Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
