Megan Fox Describes MGK Relationship As ‘Intense’ With ‘Euphoric Highs’
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly shared the details of their relationship in their cover story for GQ Style. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, the couple graced the cover of the Autumn/Winter 2021 issue. The steamy shoot shows the couple in various stages of dress. They also have their hands and lips all over one another.
The two haven’t been shy about their relationship. Megan and MGK got flak for sharing too much information on social media. However, the Teenage Mutant Turtles star feels that their love is kismet. Find out why Megan called their relationship “intense” with “euphoric highs.”
Megan Fox is crazy about Machine Gun Kelly
Megan Fox is crazy about her new boyfriend and it shows. She started dating Machine Gun Kelly (whose real name is Colson Baker) in May 2020. The two were spotted together at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. This led Megan Fox and her ex-husband Brian Austin Green to confirm their split.
Since then, Megan has been showing off her new relationship on and off social media. In the interview with GQ Style, she described their relationship as “very intense” that comes with “euphoric highs.”
“Our souls chose this to absolutely have to face our shadow selves; to face things about ourselves we didn’t want to have to know, that we tried to push away,” Megan Fox explained.
Just because Megan and MGK’s relationship looks “perfect” on Instagram doesn’t mean it is. The two have had their share of dark moments. The “Bloody Valentine” singer shared that they had a moment last weekend.
“It should be light, but also we got to hell with each other,” Machine Gun Kelly added. “It’s ecstasy and agony for sure… I don’t want people to think anything’s perfect with us. I didn’t say it was the darkest fairy tale for no reason. God help you if you would’ve met us last Saturday.”
Says their relationship has a “demonic side”
Megan Fox agreed with her rockstar boyfriend’s details of their relationship. She revealed that there’s also a “demonic side” to it. She laughed as she described, however, she meant what she said. The publication described their romance as a “Gomez and Morticia Addams type of love.”
The interview also noted that Machine Gun Kelly was outraged over the music blasting loudly during their interview. He asked if they could “go to the f***ing bar” instead. The rapper was disappointed that the interview about their souls meeting was “being drowned out” by music from Calvin Harris. Later on in the interview, their mood was more light-hearted as they explained they felt they weren’t allowed to see each other before they met on the set of the 2020 movie Midnight in the Switchgrass.
The pair first met a few years ago, ironically, at a GQ party in Los Angeles. Yet, they didn’t remember each other’s faces. They compared it to the faceless characters in the animation, Spirited Away. When they actually met for the second time, they “didn’t hook up right away.” Rather, they got to know each other instead.
The artist recalled sending her random text messages, including one that said, “I am weed.” Megan was enchanted by him and wrote, “How every fairy tale begins,” to which MGK responded, “All the good ones at least…” The two texted some more and then would speak on the phone. Even their first kiss took some time.
Megan wasn’t looking for love when she met him. However, she knew she was falling in love. MGK picked up the brunette beauty in his 1974 Cadillac convertible and the rest is history. They made out while listening to punk rock music in front of the closed Roxy Theatre. Now, the two can’t get enough of each other.
