‘Life After Lockup’: Are Shawn And Sara Married?
Life After Lockup star Shawn Osborne has had his fair share of love mishaps since initially joining the franchise. He started on Love After Lockup with Destinie Folsom. Sadly, that fizzled out on the spin-off but he had a back-up in Sara Isaac. This relationship has had its own ups and downs which viewers have seen on the latest season of LAL, currently airing on WEtv. Yet, were they able to make it work in the long run?
Shawn’s Life After Lockup Love Drama
He is so desperate for love, Shawn looks for it in all the wrong places with the wrong women. Shawn already has six kids with his ex, Kelly Corallo. The couple was together for fifteen years so she feels she knows him better than anyone. When he got involved with Destinie, it was just a hot mess. She had served two years for escape, stolen property, and possession of drugs.
Still, he believed she had changed and truly loved him for who he was. In a The Sun interview, Kelly shared she did not know about that relationship until Shawn agreed to be on television. “I was shocked, but not so shocked considering he had messed around with other prisoners he had relationships with prior to her. I was still blown away because why would you write and get with an inmate? Especially someone you don’t know. It was confusing to me.”
Shawn spent so much money on Destinie, and, in the end, was just another trick to him. At the same time, he was talking to Sara, who was in jail for involuntary manslaughter. She was in her late twenties and they got along very well. Being single was not his thing so he decided to move to Ohio where she was going to be released. She had no idea he was actually 46 not 36 and had six kids. It appeared she wanted him just for his money. Could this be love or just another Stan/Lisa, Daonte/Nicolle situation?
The Future Of Shawn and Sara
In the last two episodes, Shawn had given Sara an ultimatum. He had not seen her in the two months since she had been released and he felt used. Shawn had moved to Ohio and gotten a new job but without her, what did he have? She ultimately met him for lunch but had demands, such as a spray tanning session where she learned he was ten years older than he initially claimed.
Though he was not sure if he was being used, he was definitely smitten. Apparently smitten enough because the two have tied the knot. Yes, in July of 2021, the two filed for a marriage license and were wed on August 24th. There is no word on whether or not it was a big or small wedding. A lot still needs to be unpacked between the two of them right now, including his six children.
