Joy-Anna Duggar And Austin Forsyth Ditch Their Kids And Take Off
Former Counting On star Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth decided it was time for a break from the kids. So, on Thursday, they chose to leave the kids behind and take some time for themselves.
The pair shares one-year-old Evelyn and three-year-old Gideon. While the couple clearly loves their children, everyone needs to get away for a bit. Joy-Anna isn’t afraid to show fans that she’s enjoying some alone time with her husband. They were lucky enough to get a whole evening together without the kids.

On her Instagram stories, Joy-Anna shared a few short clips of herself and Austin in the car. She says, “It’s date night. And we are headed to McClard’s to go eat and then go shopping and then we’ve got softball tonight, and it’s gonna be fun. Austin’s parents are watching the kids for the night and it’s kind of become a weekly tradition that we go out to dinner before softball.”
Joy-Anna continues, “It’s nice. Because they live like an hour away so it ends up working out perfect. We drop ’em off right before supper, we go eat, we go to our softball game, then we get a night without the kids.”
In hopes of clearing up any confusion about her not wanting to be around her kids, Joy-Anna adds, “We love them of course, but y’all know what we mean.”
She also shared a couple of snaps of herself and Austin enjoying their meal. It looks like they had a great time together. Joy-Anna jokes that she went over her calorie limit with her meal.
As we reported, Joy-Anna and Austin now play softball together on a co-ed team. They have posted several photos of themselves playing softball, but they didn’t share about it this time.
On Friday morning, Joy-Anna hopped back on her Instagram stories, revealing that she and Austin had a late night. But she still got out of the house and picked up Evelyn. Then, she headed to a vintage market in Arkansas with her sisters.
