‘DWTS’ Fans Sour On Matt James — Is His Time Almost Up?
Bachelor Nation figures have been a staple of DWTS for the past several seasons now. So many fans weren’t surprised when ABC announced The Bachelor’s Matt James would be part of the Season 30 cast. Dancing With The Stars contestants need America’s votes to keep them moving forward in the competition. So far, Matt and his partner Lindsay Arnold have managed to stay out of the bottom two. But is their time on the show almost up?
Fans weren’t overly impressed when Rachael Kirkconnell showed up to cheer on Matt James
If you caught Dancing With The Stars last night, you might have noticed a familiar face in the rehearsal room. Matt’s girlfriend Rachael Kirkconnell made an appearance during rehearsals this week to get in on the ballroom fun. And this didn’t necessarily sit well with fans. They set Twitter ablaze with their opinions last night.

Many Bachelor Nation fans already soured on Rachael after the racially insensitive controversies earlier this year. Others felt annoyed that DWTS insists on bringing up Rachael every time it’s Matt’s turn to dance.
But that isn’t the only reason Matt James is waning in popularity.
Many fans feel that The Bachelor star is sorely lacking on the dance floor
Matt James and Lindsay Arnold actually scored lower last night than they did the week before. They weren’t the only couple to earn a worse score, but fans definitely took notice. The pair scored a 22 for their samba to “Levitating,” as compared to their 24 from last week.
During the performance, Matt James ripped his shirt off and tossed it at Bruno Tonioli. It was obviously part of the choreography, but judge Len Goodman felt that it was completely unnecessary and a little obnoxious. If you didn’t get a chance to see their performance, you can do that here:

Dancing With The Stars contestants gear up for Britney Night
In case you didn’t hear, the October 4 DWTS episode will be Britney Night, in honor of pop sensation Britney Spears. You can expect your favorite contestants to groove to some of Britney’s greatest hits.
Matt James and Lindsay Arnold managed to stay out of the bottom two last night, but next week they may not be so lucky. Many fans feel that if the show keeps placing a heavy focus on Rachael Kirkconnell and having Matt strip, they’re ready to send him home.
