Jill And Derick Dillard Excluded From Duggar Family Outing: See Photo
Most of the Duggar family enjoyed a day at Farmland Adventure, but Jill and Derick Dillard were noticeably missing from the photos. Duggar fans will recall that Jill and her husband Derick aren’t on great terms with her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle.
Jill has been outspoken about her relationship with her parents. Apparently, Jim Bob was receiving tens of thousands of dollars per episode of Counting On. But Jill claims she wasn’t compensated for her time on the show. Due to a number of issues, Jill and Derick ended up quitting the family’s TLC show, Counting On as well.
Now, it looks like there are still issues between Jill and Derick and her parents. The Duggars met at Farmland Adventure in Arkansas for a Labor Day get-together. While it’s difficult to find a time and place that works for everyone, a surprisingly large group was able to make it to Farmland. After the family gathering, Jim Bob and Michelle shared a handful of pictures from the fun day. There is no sign of Jill, Derick, or their sons, Israel and Samuel. Anna Duggar also appears to be absent from the event.
So, it looks like Jim Bob and Michelle may have left Jill and Derick out of their Labor Day event. Of course, there are other possible explanations for their absence.
Jill and Derick Dillard made other Labor Day plans.
On her Instagram page, Jill shared a few photos of her family on Labor Day. She writes, “So grateful to get some time with family & friends this weekend in Oklahoma! What has your weekend looked like? Have you been able to celebrate?”
It’s unclear whether Jill and Derick received an invite to the Duggar family outing at all and if it was before or after they had plans to go to Oklahoma.
It’s also possible that Jill and Derick simply decided it wasn’t right for them to attend the event. In the past, Jill has been open about the boundaries she has set with her parents. She said that “they aren’t always invited,” so maybe she chose not to go for a similar reason.
