‘Bringing Up Bates’ Stars Carlin & Evan Stewart Are Expecting Baby Number Two!
Another Bringing Up Bates baby is on the way for Carlin and Evan Stewart! The couple shared their exciting news on Monday. The pair currently shares a daughter, Layla, who will turn two in January.
In an exclusive statement to E!, Carlin and Evan shared all the pregnancy details. They said, “Stewart Baby No. 2 is coming in 2022! Let the baby shopping adventures, food cravings, morning (sometimes all day) sickness and midnight snacks begin! Every single part of the baby journey is worth it!”
The couple announced the news with a Target-themed photo shoot. In some of the snaps, Carlin is holding a sign that reads, “Baby Stew coming 2022!”
The pair also told E! that their “daily lives are pretty full.” They say that becoming parents to Layla and the new baby on the way is “the best and absolutely most rewarding part of our story.”
Carlin reveals that she’s excited to see Layla become a big sister. She said, “Layla bug is the joy of our lives! Seeing her big smiles and the way she loves on her daddy when he comes home from work is the highlight of our day. She’s also obsessed with her new baby cousins, so we can’t wait to see the excitement on her face when we bring home a new baby brother or sister.”
Fans thought Evan and Carlin Stewart were expecting.
For months, pregnancy rumors have been circulating. Fans have thought that Carlin and Evan would have a baby in the near future, but they were just waiting for confirmation from the couple.
The rumors have been ramping up lately, though. As we reported, Carlin was wearing a Sea-Band in a recent vlog. Sea-bands are used to help with nausea, and pregnant people often wear them to relieve morning sickness. So, fans thought it was only a matter of time before the couple revealed that they are expecting.
Another Bringing Up Bates baby is on the way.
Carlin isn’t the only Bates sister with a baby on the way. Chad and Erin Paine announced that they are expecting their fifth child together after Erin had some serious health issues. Despite having most of her ovaries removed during multiple surgeries, she was able to get pregnant. Chad and Erin’s baby is due in 2022 as well.
Fans suspect that another Bates will be pregnant soon enough. Nathan Bates and Esther Keyes are getting married in October, and Katie Bates and Travis Clark will tie the knot in December. So, fans think the newlyweds will begin growing their own families soon enough.
