Insiders close to production denied the rumors and claimed that the show will be back on its feet in no time. But the biggest issue that it has is finding new footing.
On Friday, August 27, news about casting for RHONY Season 14 was revealed. Fans are curious to know who will return and who will get fired. Some of them are calling for the firing of Ramona Singer, who refuses to show up to the Season 13 reunion. Others want a cast shakeup after a disaster of a season.
Who’s returning to RHONY Season 14
According to a new report, Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, and Sonja Morgan were offered “friend” roles for RHONY Season 14. Bravo is considering holding off on the series until late 2022. After the show return from its two-month hiatus, it will be on an extended hiatus. Some of the longest-running cast members are facing demotions.
The Bravo network and its producers are determining to fix the show while adhering to costs. All three women have reportedly been offered “friend” roles as a result. So far, only one of the women went with the idea for Season 14.
“Bravo just came to Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, and Sonja Morgan and is requesting they come back as ‘friends’ for next season,” an insider told Radar Online. “Ramona is the highest paid with Lu right behind her.”
Season 13 hasn’t been its lucky season. The show was fraught with controversy. There’s a major drop in viewership as a result. Producers are hoping to revive the once-popular show. They don’t want to do anything that could further tarnish the Real Housewives franchise. Sonja is the only one who accepted the demoted role.
Who will Bravo producers cast?
Fans are wondering what the RHONY Season 14 cast will look like. The source revealed that filming will not resume until next year. It may not premiere until late 2022. There also hasn’t been a filming date for the Season 13 reunion.
“There is still no confirmed date to shoot the reunion show after it being postponed twice,” the insider said. “First, August 5th is canceled and now the September date has been canceled too. But even more concerning, there is no date to start filming Season 14 on the books, and [there’s] talk about putting the show on permanent hiatus.”
Filming for the Season 13 reunion could take place in mid-September. Bravo wants to put this show on an extended hiatus. The premiere date could take place in late 2022. This gives the show some breathing room so everyone can move from this past season.

There was a big drop in viewers with rhony because it changed. Everything is about race. Every action, comment or even sneeze is analyzed into a race debate. All white ppl are evil racist on the show now simply because they are white except of course oh so perfect leah, which has ALWAYS grown up privileged and only says what society wants her to say. Keep the political b.s out of the show. NY itself is a clown state right now, yet you expect America to take political advice from these ppl? This show is to show beautiful strong successful women, not a constant race war.
