Courtney Waldrop Admits She & Husband Eric Sleep On The Floor
Between home renovations and nine children, sleeping arrangements aren’t ideal for Courtney and Eric Waldrop. Turns out, they don’t have a bedroom right now. And, their designated sleeping space is questionable at best.
Courtney Waldrop admits she and Eric sleep on the floor
Thanks to home renovations, Courtney Waldrop and her husband Eric are without a bedroom. In time, they will have their own space away from the children. But, for now? They are making do with the space they have. Unfortunately, no bedroom means the Sweet Home Sextuplets parents don’t exactly have space for a bed either. This piece of information was shared in an Instagram update concerning the Waldrop girls — Rawlings, Rayne, and Rivers.
Turns out, Courtney Waldrop recently decided it was time to ditch the girls’ toddler beds and exchange them for a new, big, and comfy bed. Just last night was the girls’ very first night in their new bed. And, Courtney Waldrop had some pretty big hopes.
The mother-of-nine admitted that it is extremely common for her and Eric to wake up with as many as five children curled up in bed with them. Given the difficulty of their current sleeping arrangement, waking up to five children curled up in bed with them is making it even harder.
Courtney Waldrop, however, remains hopeful the girls will love their new bed so much that they won’t come crawling into bed with mommy and daddy.
The Sweet Home Sextuplets parents lack a bedroom right now
Courtney Waldrop explained that she and her husband Eric do not have a bedroom right now because of renovations. Turns out, they don’t even have much of a bed. In fact, they are sleeping on the floor.
Eric and I sleep on a mattress in the floor since we still don’t have a bedroom so it’s already not very comfortable…and then usually 5 out of the 9 kids wind up in bed or should I say on the floor with us every night.”
The former TLC mother admits that sleeping on the floor is already uncomfortable. Adding as many as five children to the mattress on the floor just makes things worse.
She added near the end of her post: “So now every child has a big bed…can’t wait to have a big bed myself!!”
Courtney Waldrop hopes she and her husband Eric will take back their not-so-cozy mattress on the floor. And, she can’t wait until she has a bedroom with a bed that isn’t on the floor.
Are you surprised Courtney and Eric Waldrop sleep on the floor? Do you think the sacrifice they make to remodel their home to have more room for their children is sweet? Share your thoughts with us in the comments. And, keep coming back for the latest on this former TLC family.
