‘Below Deck Med’ Malia White Is Dating Someone New: See The Photo

Below Deck Med star Malia White officially moved on from Chef Tom Checketts. She’s kept coy about her relationship status on Instagram. She only posts her adventures in and outside of yachting. As fans know, deckhand David Pascoe has a crush on the bosun.

He shoot his shot and missed. On a previous episode of Below Deck Mediterranean, David drunkenly confessed his feelings to Malia after a crew night out. She told him that she wants to focus on being single at the moment. Malia also wanted the viewers to see a different side of her.

She’s become known for her boatmances rather than her workmanship. It appears that she’s still dating someone in the yachting industry though.

Malia White has a new man!

According to a new report, Malia White is dating someone who’s working on Season 6 of Below Deck Mediterranean. Viewers first caught a glimpse of Jake the engineer and liked what they saw. They wanted to get to know the hunky dude. Unfortunately, this engineer stays behind the scenes unlike the engineers on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

The bosun has also taken an interest in Jake the engineer. The Below Deck series typically has a cast of 11 to 12 people, but there are many others who help the yacht run. There’s even a production crew and secret stew who helps out between charters. One of the secret crew members is Jake, who works as a boat engineer.

He reportedly is dating Malia. The two were first spotted together on Captain Sandy Yawn’s girlfriend Leah Schafer’s Instagram page back in May. They also made an appearance on Little Gathering’s Instagram page. The company said they made “something special for these two cuties – @maliakpwhite was a goddess in that white dress + @bakeyjakeyy was equally as lovely.”

On Wednesday, July 21, Jake shared a photo of himself with Malia on her birthday. Behind them were silver and blue balloons that read, “Happy Birthday.” He captioned his post: “Happy birthday to the Moon Boot Queen herself [black heart] ILY.”

The Below Deck Med star hasn’t had much luck with love

Malia White struggled with all of her boatmances on the show. During Season 2, she ended up in a love triangle with Chef Adam Glick and bosun Wes Walton. Ultimately, Malia chose Wes, but they broke up shortly before the reunion episode.

In Season 5, she brought on her boyfriend Chef Tom Checketts. He came on board in the middle of the season to replace Chef Hindrigo “Kiko” Lorran. They broke up shortly after that charter season ended. Malia revealed that she found out through a friend that Tom cheated on her.
