Jill Dillard Leaves Duggar Drama In Arkansas, Says It’s ‘Time To Get Away’
The Duggar family has a lot going on right now. As you probably know, Josh Duggar was arrested for the possession of child sexual abuse material. Now, he’s awaiting his trial in November. The past few months have put stress on the rest of his family, including Jill Dillard. So, Jill and her husband Derick Dillard decided it was time to get away from all of the family drama and relax for a bit.
Duggar fans know that Jill and Derick aren’t on great terms with the rest of the Duggars. They claim that they weren’t paid fairly for their time on TLC’s Counting On and ultimately left because of that.
There have been other conflicts between Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and Jill. Jill recently revealed that she has set boundaries with her parents, so she doesn’t always see them. Nonetheless, her name is connected to her family, and it can’t be easy constantly seeing what’s going on with Josh.

In a new Instagram post on Thursday, Jill revealed that she and her husband Derick left Arkansas to go on a little trip. She snapped a photo of the two of them sharing a kiss on the beach.
In the caption, she wrote, “Glad to have some time to get away from some of the more stressful things of life lately! #seasideoregon #dillardfamilyvacation2021.” She also tagged her location as Seaside, Oregon.
For now, Jill has only shared one vacation picture, but she may post more soon. In the past, when she and Derick go on vacation, she has uploaded lots of pictures to their family blog and told fans all about their trip. In the comments section of Jill’s post, fans are leaving suggestions for where the family should go while in Seaside.
Jill’s social media followers are also sending encouraging words her way. They are proud of Jill and hope that she’s taking care of herself during this stressful time. One fan writes, “Life’s pretty hard for so many right now. May your soul get the rest it needs.” Another adds, “Glad you are taking care of yourselves. Seaside is wonderful!” Someone else sweetly replies, “You are so strong and an inspiration. ❤️🙏🏼”
