Katie Thurston made quite the impression on Bachelor Nation fans with her Bachelor debut. During Matt James’s season, the TikTok sensation came in hot right out of the limo. She immediately presented Matt with her vibrator, joking that she no longer needed it after meeting him. Her fiery personality enraptured viewers, though Matt James ended up finding love with another contestant.
However, she got the attention of the franchise head honchos. Katie Thurston headlines Season 17 of The Bachelorette. As a result, her face is easily one of the most recognizable among the younger demographic. So, why did Katie Thurston try to disguise her identity?
Katie Thurston Hilarious Fails at Going Undercover With THIS Disguise
Sometimes celebrities just want some peace and quiet. In Katie Thurston’s case, she was just trying to sell some stuff before her big move to San Diego. She took to her Instagram Stories to recount the ensuing hilarious encounter.
Katie Thurston starts off the video by panning the camera to her outfit, which she calls a “disguise.” The reality star sold some of her belongings and was meeting up with the buyers. She said that for some reason, she thought the buyer was an older lady. Imagine her surprise when two girls in their 20s or so show up to complete the purchase.
The Bachelorette opted out of using a fake name for the transaction. Instead, she donned what she thought was an outfit that would disguise her identity. In the video, Katie shows that she’s wearing a blue baseball cap with her long hair in a ponytail. As the camera pans down, viewers can see she’s wearing a white t-shirt with the McDonald’s logo, plain blue shorts, and white sneakers. But the main component of Katie’s “disguise” seems to be her large-rim eyeglasses.
Unlike Clark Kent, no one was fooled by the glasses. In another video slide, Katie jokes that she needs to up her disguise.
Drama Heating Up in Final Two Episodes
Katie’s cast-offs reunited during last week’s Men Tell All special. But the season isn’t over yet. The reality star has to whittle her final men down from three to just one. In a drama-filled season, Katie Thurston seems to ramp the drama up even more in the final two episodes.
She is rumored to have an EXPLOSIVE argument with one of her final three, resulting in him going home. There is clearly still a lot of drama to come on Season 17 of The Bachelorette.
