So, for those who follow the Duggar family on Instagram, yesterday should have been a day filled with tributes to Jim Bob Duggar on his special day. Unfortunately for the former TLC personality, it was not. After monitoring Instagram all day… It turns out, just one member of the Duggar family took to Instagram to pay tribute to Jim Bob on his birthday. Who was it that wished him a happy birthday? Wait, who wished Jim Bob Duggar a happy birthday?

Turns out, Jed Duggar was the only member of the reality TV family to take to Instagram to wish his father a happy birthday. Technically, Jed Duggar’s tribute was only up for 24 hours. He didn’t even give his father a full tribute on his profile. He just gave him a 24-hour tribute on his Instagram Stories.

Now, the official Duggar family account belonging to Michelle and Jim Bob did reshare the tribute from Jed on their Instagram Stories as well. But, nothing was added to suggest anyone else bothered wishing Jim Bob a happy birthday on his special day.

How old is he anyway?

Jim Bob Duggar turned 56 yesterday. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem like any of his children really cared. Or, at least they decided not to pay tribute to their father on a public platform. Now, we know the Duggar family as a whole is keeping a pretty low profile. Other than cute stuff involving grandchildren, most are refraining from posting much of anything.

Fans assume the Duggars are trying to step out of the spotlight that Josh forced them into. As fans will recall, Josh Duggar — who is considered the golden son of Jim Bob and Michelle — recently got arrested for some pretty horrific crimes against children.

Followers of the family called for the cancelation of the Duggars including their TV series on TLC. The network eventually gave in and made the decision to pull the plug on the series. So, it is possible some of the Duggars are just trying to avoid the negative comments that might come with paying tribute to their father on Instagram.
