Matt Roloff asked for prayers recently as he raced off early one morning to deal with a family emergency. He explained both of his parents had some medical challenges. And, he was in a very uneasy situation. Unfortunately, the family emergency did force him to pause all wedding prep happening on Roloff Farms. Matt, however, remained confident things would get picked back up and finished before the big day.
LPBWfans have been praying hard for Matt Roloff and his parents since he revealed the family emergency. Finally, he’s taken to Instagram with a bit of an update.

Matt Roloff family emergency update: Are his parents alright?
The TLC personality kicked off his update on his family emergency by thanking his followers. He wanted them to know how much he appreciated all of the prayers and kind words. Matt Roloff’s update came with a bit of good news. It seems things are going well for his parents right now.
Well … I really beleive our collective prayers are having a positive impact.. my dads first treatment went very well. My mom was up and about looking wonderful and In high spirits.”
Matt Roloff added as he continued to update on his parents: “after a short rough reaction to the first treatment my tough dad papa was his old self eager to be the host and make everyone feel comfortable … we had to keep pushing him to sit down and take it easy..”
Matt Roloff admitted his dad was a pretty stubborn fellow that was set in his ways. So, his father didn’t really want to take it easy and rest. Matt revealed he had to remind his father to rest and take it easy more than a few times.
The TLC personality thanked a friend for helping him during this difficult time
The LPBW star revealed he had a friend who picked him up from the airport and served as his shuttle driver. He made sure to thank him in the update as well.
“And a huge thanks to my high school bestie Cowboy Bob for picking me up at the airport and being my shuttle driver and much more.” He penned.
Matt Roloff acknowledged that while it was a short visit, it was a great one.
My folks looked great .. Huny will continue her therapy to get full movement back and papa will continue weekly treatments for the next several months but his ‘numbers’ are already looking better even after just the first dose.”

Matt Roloff concluded his update by thanking everyone for keeping his family in their thoughts. He believed the power of prayer has made a difference. Unfortunately, he couldn’t stay long as he has tons he has to do back home. But, he was happy to check on his parents and get a firsthand look at how they were doing.
