Ready for some royal rivalry, Lifetime-style? Lifetime’s latest drama, Harry & Meghan: Escaping The Palace is coming to your television soon. This is Lifetime’s third installment in this series. This movie stars Jordan Dean (The Sinner, The Punisher), Sydney Morton (Manifest, Jessica Jones), and Steve Coulter (Shotgun Wedding, P-Valley).
Moreover, director Menhaj Huda and writer Scarlett Lacey are back for their third time around with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

According to Deadline, Lifetime’s Harry & Meghan: Escaping The Palace is about the past 18 months. This movie shares the reasons why Harry (Dean) and Meghan (Morton) were forced to move an ocean away from the palace with their baby Archie.
In this movie, there will be all the tea you want on the relationships between royal brothers William and Harry, as well as with their father, Prince Charles. Don’t forget that there will be encounters between the two sisters-in-law, Kate and Meghan. Moreover, this movie will explore Harry’s helplessness and fear that history will repeat itself. He did not want anything to happen to Meghan, that happened to his mother. This fear and desire to protect his young family are behind his desire to cut all royal ties.

Cast Differences In This Lifetime Movie
Royal watchers may notice that there is a casting change with this third franchise movie. In the 2018 film, Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, Parisa Fitz-Henley was cast as Meghan, Murray Fraser was cast as Harry, and Steve Coulter portrayed Prince Charles.
Next, is the 2019 film, Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal, starred Tiffany Smith as Meghan, Charlie Field as Harry, and Charles Shaughnessy in the role of Prince Charles.
Now, in this third movie, it is a new Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Jordan Dean and Sydney Morton are starring in the lead roles. However, there are certainly some familiar faces in this franchise.
Steve Coulter is back to play Prince Charles. He was in the first of the series. Jordan Whalen, who was in the second movie, is back to play Prince William. James Dreyfus, who plays a palace “insider” named Leonard, was also in the second movie.
Moreover, Laura Mitchell is back to play Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge a third time. She has been in all three movies. Not to mention, Maggie Sullivun is back to play Queen Elizabeth II for the third time. In addition, Melanie Nicholls-King will be portraying Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, for a third time. Also, Bonnie Soper is reprising her role as Princess Diana a third time.
We cannot forget Camilla, and Deborah Ramsay is portraying her a third time.
