Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo previously announced that their book would officially launch on May 4. Did they follow through with the launch following Josh Duggar’s arrest? See what happened.

On social media Tuesday, Jinger and Jeremy excitedly promoted their book, pointing out that it’s launch day. In a video on Instagram, Jinger says, “The Hope We Hold releases today! We are so excited to celebrate this with you guys!!!” The pair also went to Barnes & Noble to sign the copies for sale there. Jinger documented this special moment via social media, writing, “It’s launch day and we went to @barnesandnoble at The Grove to sign some books!!! Each one has a special message 😉 see if you can find it 😁”

So, the book did launch as it was originally intended to on May 4. Some fans wondered if the couple would postpone the launch due to Josh’s arrest on Thursday. Despite the family drama, the couple decided to proceed with sending their book out into the world. They didn’t let the family issues take away from this exciting day. Following the news of Josh’s arrest, one fan commented, “Sorry everything is going on the same time as your launch it must be really hard.”
