Josh Duggar Jail Footage Released
Josh Duggar was arrested on Thursday, went to court on Friday, and is now in jail. The former TLC star’s case is still ongoing. The statement from the United States Attorney’s Office reads:
“A Springdale man was arrested yesterday for receiving and possessing material depicting the sexual abuse of children. According to court documents, Joshua James Duggar, 33, allegedly used the internet to download child sexual abuse material. Duggar allegedly possessed this material, some of which depicts the sexual abuse of children under the age of 12, in May 2019. Duggar is charged by indictment with receiving and possessing child pornography. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years of imprisonment and fines up to $250,000 on each count.”
Josh has pleaded not guilty.
Since the news broke, several of the Duggars have spoken out, including Jim Bob and Michelle. TLC has also issued a statement on Josh’s arrest.

It is our prayer that the truth, no matter what it is, will come to light, and that this will all be resolved in a timely manner. We love Josh and Anna and continue to pray for their family.”

NewsNation shared an exclusive clip of Josh in jail. In the video, he’s with the officers at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas. The clip was recorded as Josh was taken into custody and being searched and patted down. It’s a brief clip. In the video, he’s wearing the same shirt he wore in his mug shot, which was taken on the same day.
Josh is no longer allowed to be around minors. If he is released on bail, he will have to live somewhere without minors, which means he cannot live with his family. For now, Anna is raising their six children on her own. It’s unclear what the future of their relationship looks like. Just a few days before the arrest, Josh and Anna shared the news that they are expecting their seventh child.
