Is This A Sign The Duggars Were Preparing For Josh’s Arrest?

On Thursday, news of Josh Duggar’s arrest broke. As of right now, few details have been confirmed. While this news took fans by surprise, it’s possible that the Duggar family knew it was coming.

Prior to Josh’s arrest, Life is Not All Pickles and Hairspray shared a post about the Duggars and their businesses. The page notes:

“Jana was removed from her Arbor Acres LLC. I wonder why?
Anna’s/Josh’s mysterious LLC was dissolved.
And Jeremy’s LLC, which was based in Jim Bob’s house for some reason, was revoked.
John’s Medic Corps was also dissolved though the website is still up. His Medic Choppers is still around though. I guess they couldn’t raise enough money to keep it going.”
At that point, it wasn’t clear what was going on. Now, it seems like the family could have been preparing for Josh’s arrest. In the comments section of the post, Counting On viewers are saying they think it’s tax evasion and that the family was trying to clean up before the IRS came to check things out. Of course, there’s plenty of speculation about the truth behind his arrest.

Fans and critics think Josh Duggar was aware of upcoming arrest

Others have been speculating about the arrest, how much the family knew, and what ultimately led to this. Some believe that this is related to the raid that happened in 2019. The car lot where Josh works was raided by the FBI, but it’s unclear what was found. Though it’s been over a year since that happened, it’s possible that something found during that investigation led to his arrest this year.

Shortly before Josh’s arrest, Anna’s pregnancy news came out. In the past, some of her pregnancy announcements have coincided with Josh’s legal troubles. While it’s unclear if there’s a true connection between the two, some Duggar critics think Josh may be treated better if he has a wife and young children at home. But it was about time for Josh and Anna to have another child, as their kids are all about two years apart in age. This whole ordeal might leave Anna as a single parent.
