Steve Howey Rocks Sexy Post ‘Shameless’ Haircut
Shameless no more! The cult favorite Showtime series recently wrapped up its 11-season run. While fans of the show are still mourning the end of the show, Steve Howey is ready for whatever comes next. The long-running cast member took to his Instagram account to show off his sexy new look.
Shameless Ends After 11 Seasons
Showtime’s Shameless is an adaptation of the British TV show of the same name. The US version kicked off in 2011 with William H. Macy in the lead role of Frank Gallagher. Emmy Rossum played his daughter, Fiona.
Steve Howey took on a more adult role from his days as Van Montgomery on the WB/CW sitcom Reba. His Shameless character, Kevin Bell, was similar to the dimwit teen, but all grown up. Viewers got an eyeful of Howey when he appeared fully nude in the pilot episode.
Steve Howey Debuts Sexy New Haircut
Throughout his run as Kevin, Howey sported different hairstyles over the 11 seasons. He rocked a bald look for most of the final season of Shameless.
But now that his time as Kevin is over, it seems Howey is ready for a new look. The actor shared a photo on his Instagram account this week. He’s gone from his teenage long luscious brown locks to a manly rugged buzz cut with a fresh design.
Fans Love The ‘Do, But Miss Shameless
His followers flooded the comment section with praise for the new look. More than a few showed their infatuation with the heart-eyes emoji. Fans are here for the fresh, sexy cut, but they miss Kevin Ball.
One fan was hopeful that the show will go on. “New haircut for season 12?,” they wrote in a comment. Unfortunately for that fan, Shameless is officially over. However, there is hope that the network could create a spin-off, perhaps featuring Kevin and Veronica (Shanola Hampton.)
That may be wishful thinking, as Kevin Howey is already moving on to another project. CinemaBlend reports that he will star in the Netflix movie Day Shift. The “vampire comedy” also stars Jamie Foxx and Dave Franco.
The first 10 seasons of Shameless are available to stream on Netflix. Season 11 is available on Hulu with the Showtime add-on. Fans can also watch the UK version of Shameless on Hulu.
