‘Bringing Up Bates’ Teaser Hints At An Unexpected Challenge
The new season of UPtv’s Bringing Up Bates kicked off recently. Now, a new teaser for the upcoming episode was released. In the teaser, a challenge arises for the family. Take a look at the trailer and find out what’s to come.

In the trailer for the new episode, Travis Clark and Katie Bates are about to head out on a date. Before they leave, they have to find a chaperone to tag along with them. In the Bates family, the kids court instead of date. One part of courting is only going on dates with chaperones. This is a way that the kids can be held accountable to staying “pure” until marriage.
While looking for a chaperone, Katie points out that she doesn’t have many options for chaperones. Her chaperone is one of her younger siblings, but there aren’t many left at home anymore. She asks, “Is this all I get?”
Mom Kelly explains that they are running out of chaperones. Gil adds that all of their usual chaperones have left. As the kids go off and get married, the number of possible chaperones keeps getting smaller. It will be interesting to see what happens as the youngest kids get older, but it’s already getting to be quite the challenge. Gil and Kelly may end up going on lots of dates to chaperone the younger children once they reach the courting age. Jeb, the youngest of the Bates kids, is nine years old.
