Amy Slaton Tells Tammy: ‘At Least You Ain’t Got Coochie Cramps’
Last week’s episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters ended on a stressful note, but Tammy and Amy Slaton don’t take long to get back to their crude and hilarious banter. While some fans of the show agree the Slaton sisters tend to take things a little too far… It is also that crude and brutally honest sense of humor that fans really seem to love.
Warning: This contains spoilers from Season 2, Episode 9 titled “Labor of Love.”
Amy Slaton updates Tammy
After Amy Slaton returns home from the hospital, she calls Tammy to give her an update. Some of it is pretty scary. For example, we learn the baby is breech. And, Amy is going to need a C-Section. Furthermore, we learn that Amy and Michael will have to quarantine before the baby is born. The doctor explains amid the pandemic there is a huge issue with parents testing positive for COVID during or after birth. And, for obvious reasons, this isn’t an ideal situation for a newborn to be in. So, the doctors want to do what they can to make sure they are COVID-free when the baby is born.
After Amy finishes sharing the updates with Tammy, she asks how she is doing. If fans recall, Tammy wasn’t doing so well when the episode ended either. She was having a really bad Charley Horse. The onset medic felt she might be dehydrated. So, he encouraged her to drink a bottle of water to help with the cramping. Because Amy rushed off to the hospital, she wanted to check-in. How was Tammy doing?
Tammy has some issue with her potassium level
Tammy Slaton tells Amy she’s having some sort of issue with her potassium that is causing her to experience cramps. She, however, admits she isn’t really sure whether it is because her potassium is too high or too low. Amy interjects to tell Tammy her situation could be worse. She jests that at least Tammy isn’t dealing with “coochie cramps” right now.
Noticeably, Tammy was caught a little off guard and instantly wanted to change the topic. Obviously, she didn’t really want to talk about that part of her sister. And, really, who could blame her? Still, Amy might be right. Few things hurt more than pregnancy-related pains.
