‘Duck Dynasty’ Alum Sadie Robertson Has Her Baby Shower

Sadie Robertson shared the photos from her baby shower this weekend. The former Duck Dynasty star is gearing up for the birth of her baby girl. On Saturday, February 21, she took to Instagram to post several photos from the event. She’s expecting her first child with her husband, Christian Huff.

Also, she showed off her ever-growing baby bump. The 23-year-old couldn’t stop smiling during the special occasion. Both her friends and family members attended the baby shower. Even their spouses and her husband were also there. Normally, baby showers are for women only, but it’s become a growing trend for both parents to attend.

The A&E star posted a carousel of photos on Instagram. The first photo showed Sadie Robertson in a beige ribbed dress that showed off her baby bump. The rest of the photos showed her with friends, family, and her husband Christian Huff. The Live Original founder beamed brightly and couldn’t stop smiling.

“Baby’s 1 st shower was the SWEETEST,” she wrote in the caption. “Thankful for our sweet sweet friends who threw us the shower and just continue to shower us and now her with so much love and kindness. Thankful our daughter will grow up with people like all of you! so happy rn.”

Sadie then took to her Instagram Stories. There, she shared more clips and photos from the event. One of them shows Christian successfully putting a diaper on a teddy bear. The Live author also shared more joyous photos.

Inside the event, attendees wore face masks. This comes after Sadie contracted COVID-19 last fall. Sadie, as well as her mom, Korie Robertson, and her sister, tested positive for coronavirus. During a recent podcast episode, they reminded everyone to wear face masks and practice social distancing.

“All of the physical pain on top of the loneliness of it, the isolation of it, makes you feel this depression that is something that I’d never experienced before,” Sadie said on her podcast, Whoa That’s Good. “I’m not going to lie, I cried a lot. It’s a really dark sickness.”

Earlier this month, Sadie Robertson shared several photos from her maternity photo shoot. Her younger sister Bella Robertson shot the photos. The images showed the Christian influencer in pink sweatpants as she posed with her husband and their dog. “3rd trimester here we gooooooooo!!!” she captioned the slideshow of photos on Monday, February 8. “EXCITED FOR THIS ONE.”

In October 2020, Sadie couldn’t hide her excitement about becoming a mom on Instagram. This came after she received many questions from fans and followers about whether she wanted children. At the time, Sadie was tired of the questions. She didn’t seem in a hurry, but since then, her opinion has changed.
