Which Two ‘Bringing Up Bates’ Kids Share A Birthday?
In a family with 19 children, a couple of them are bound to share a birthday. So, when February 17 rolled around this year, the Bates family celebrated both Addee and Jackson. These two Bringing Up Bates kids aren’t twins, but they do share a birthday.
Addee is the 15th of the 19 Bates children. On February 17, 2021, the Bates daughter turned 15 years old.
Jackson is the 12th child in the family. He turned 19 years old in 2021.
On social media, in honor of their kids’ birthdays, the Bates parents often share photos and a heartfelt message. Since two birthdays fall on the same day, the family spaced out the posts so each kid gets their own special moment.
Bates family wishes Addee a happy birthday
On Instagram, the Bates family shared a series of photos of Addee. They posted a couple of photos of her on her own, as well as one with her niece Willow, and one with her siblings. The family describes Addee as “so close to perfect,” as well as selfless.

Jackson’s birthday post includes a round-up of photos from the ALERT boot camp training that he attended. The parents gushed over him, saying they were proud of his determination and hard work – no matter how hard training might have been. They add, “I think you’ve grown up right before my eyes into someone that’s incredibly strong- both inside and out- into someone that’s a leader, someone that’s willing to follow command, someone that’s reliable, someone that’s capable & skilled, someone that’s going to be able to use all of those great qualities to be a ‘good soldier’ for the Lord.”
Bringing Up Bates fans wish the kids a happy birthday
In response to the new posts from the family, fans are commenting and wishing the kids a happy birthday. The kids are very well-loved, and fans are excited to see them back on TV again soon. Fans are also commenting and saying that they didn’t know the kids shared a birthday.
Fans are loving the individual posts that Kelly Jo and Gil share about their children. Sometimes, because there are so many kids to keep up with, fans don’t always know the kids individually. So, this is a way for them to “get to know them.”
