Alyssa Bates & John Webster’s 4th Daughter Is Here!
On Tuesday, February 9, the newest Bringing Up Bates family member arrived! John Webster and Alyssa Bates revealed that their fourth daughter is finally here. They shared a post on social media and spoke exclusively with PEOPLE.
The baby’s name is Maci Jo. She weighs 6 pounds, 3 ounces, and is 18 inches long. Her original due date was Feb. 17, 2021. But she arrived a little early. Luckily, it seems like the baby is healthy.
They talked to PEOPLE about the baby’s arrival, saying:
“We couldn’t be happier or more thankful to add a fourth little girl to our family. Maci Jo is perfect in every way and we can’t wait to see the girls reactions to meeting her for the first time. We praise God for a healthy labor and delivery and are very grateful Mommy and Baby are both doing well! We are enjoying these precious moments together!”
Prior to the baby’s arrival, the couple revealed her gender via a virtual gender reveal party. Later, they announced her name, Maci Jo. They have loved the name Maci for a long time. They are using the middle name Jo for Alyssa’s mom Kelly Jo Bates.
The couple already shares three daughters, Zoey Joy, 2, Lexi Mae, 4, and Allie Jane, 5.
Alyssa has been open about her health challenges and has shared that she and John likely won’t be having any more children. The couple seems to adore their kids and are soaking up all of the special moments in their life together. They call Maci their surprise blessing.

Fans are thrilled to hear that the baby arrived safely on Tuesday. They are sending love to the couple in the comments section of their post. They’re so happy for the family and think that Alyssa and the baby look great. They are loving the photo that the family shared.
Katie Bates writes, “So excited to meet her 😍.” The Bates family Instagram page writes, “I’ve been counting down until this special day!!! I can’t wait to hold her!!!!! ❤️❤️”
