Annie and David Toborowsky have become 90 Day Fiance fan favorites. They are especially delightful on the spin-off 90 Day Fiance: Pillow Talk. Annie can be found cooking dinner in bed or joking with her husband. It took them some time but they are beloved and happy. Now, Annie is revealing she has a new fun nickname David and shared it on Instagram.
Annie and David: Meant To Be
When viewers met Annie and David on Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance, it was an interesting match. David was 48 and divorced, traveling through Thailand on his best friend’s dime. There, he met 24-year-old Annie. She had no idea that the fortunes he was showering her with during their courtship would not carry over to America. David had no money and a fractured relationship with his children. He relied heavily on his best friend, Chris who put them up in an abandoned firehouse. This was far from Annie’s American dream. David’s friend cut him off and he eventually got a job teaching English overseas. It took Annie awhile to find a job because she was on a visa.
His relationship with his kids got better and Annie became part of the family. The two just had a lot of fun together and it did not matter how much money they had. The couple had so much love to share. When Covid hit, David was very protective of Annie. Because the virus was believed to come from China, she could not even go to a market without getting jeered at, as viewers saw on 90 Day Fiance: Self-Quarantined. It was hurtful and sad but they made it through. And now, they are even more in love.
90 Day Fiance and Beyond
Today, Annie posted a sweet selfie with her beloved and shared what 2021 had in store for them. Most importantly, she was no longer referring to David as her “sweet potato.” That was his 2020 nickname. So, what will she be calling him this year? Mister Everything. That is so adorable. Seeing that Annie can make stir-fry by their bedside, it seems she can do it all. She has also spent time during the pandemic making face masks for first responders so she is quite the gem.
But, they are still the fun couple. As they shared with Shaun Robinson on 90 Day Bares All, David chipped a tooth or a veneer, if you will, while they were having “boom boom.” According to Annie: “He says ‘Wait, wait’ I say, ‘I cannot wait.’ ‘Wait, wait.’ ‘No wait.’ Crack!
