Peacock Snags ‘The Office’ After Netflix Drops It
The Office leaving Netflix was a pretty devastating blow for subscribers. But, it has been par for the course with the streaming giant lately. Netflix has been more interested in shelling at serious cash on original content. And, doesn’t want to continue to pay big bucks for limited streaming rights to something the streaming giant doesn’t own. The Office is just one of many devastating shows to leave Netflix as of late.
So, where did The Office go?
Unsurprisingly, The Office has a huge following. And, there are a lot of Netflix subscribers who want to know where it went. Where can they stream The Office after it left Netflix? Fortunately, there is another streaming service that has stepped up to the plate.
According to The Verge, Peacock (which is a newer player in the streaming service industry) snagged The Office. Peacock even generously offers Season 1 and 2 of the series for free. Which might be a real smack in the face to Netflix. Unfortunately, fans of The Office will have to subscribe to Peacock if they want to binge through the whole series. That being said, Peacock is significantly cheaper than Netflix at this point in time. Being newer to the industry though, subscribers suspect it is only a matter of time before Peacock starts to hike their prices as well.
Presently, Peacock is available for $4.99 a month or $9.99 a month without advertisements.

This may be a real game changer for Peacock
The Verge speculates snagging The Office after Netflix dropped it might be a real game charger for Peacock. The streaming service is doing an incredible job of luring people in with a few free seasons. Then, getting them to subscribe to enjoy the whole show. This is something the service service is doing with a number of titles in their library. But, The Office is a series with a huge following. And, The Verge believes that following might be willing to move to Peacock to be able to watch this series. Likewise, a lot of subscribers threatened to leave Netflix if they lost this series. So, these individuals would suddenly have some free cash in their budge to subscribe to something new.
‘THE OFFICE’ was the 2nd most popular show of 2020 on Netflix.
