Kathy Hilton Shares Health Update After ‘RHOBH’ COVID Scare
TV Shows Ace has been reporting about the RHOBH COVID scare. First, news broke that several crew members tested positive for COVID-19. Then, TMZ reported that Kyle Richards, Kathy Hilton, and Dorit Kemsley also had it. Now, Paris and Nicky’s mother is sharing a health update.
Kathy will join the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 11. Over the summer, Bravo confirmed the news. It’s fitting since she’s the real-life sister of Kyle Richards. However, filming halted a couple of weeks ago after production tested positive. Kathy has since taken to Instagram to share a health update with her followers.
Kathy Hilton shares COVID-19 results
The reality star confirmed TMZ’s report. Kathy Hilton kept her COVID diagnosis to herself. But she recently told her fans that she tested negative for the second time. On Wednesday, December 9, she took to her Instagram Stories to share a photo from the clinic.
“I just got my second clean COVID test,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.
This means that Kathy can resume filming for the show, which should be nearing the end of production. However, it’s unclear when production will resume. Sources say filming may not continue until after the holiday season.
Kathy isn’t the only one sharing a health update. Kyle Richards didn’t talk about her coronavirus diagnosis as well. Instead, she hinted that she was feeling under the weather on Thanksgiving Day on Instagram Stories. But the RHOBH co-star finally came out about her COVID-19 diagnosis.
“I love these people so much,” Kyle wrote in the caption of a throwback photo of herself with her family at Christmas. “Some of you may have heard I have COVID, I got it after these photos were taken.”
Kyle also confirmed that her daughter Sophia also tested positive.
“Since I was diagnosed I have been separated from my family in order to keep them healthy,” she continued. “Unfortunately Sophia also got it. We will stay in isolation until it’s safe to see the family and others again. I can’t wait to hug them.”
Garcelle Beauvais shared an update on the RHOBH shutdown
Following the reports of the RHOBH COVID outbreak, Garcelle Beauvais shared an update. The Real co-host shared what she knew about the situation. However, she didn’t talk about her co-stars.
“We shot for Housewives on Tuesday, Tuesday night we got home and found out that a few people in our crew tested positive for COVID,” Garcelle said in a clip for The Real shared by ET Online.
The actress said that safety protocols were implemented to keep everyone else. Despite the protocols that the RHOBH production set for the cast and crew, the infectious virus was hard to control. Garcelle and her co-stars are in quarantine “for a few weeks” to make sure no one else gets it.
Bravo has not confirmed when the show will resume filming or when the new season will air.
