Is Braunwyn Windham-Burke Feuding With Her Own Daughter?
Braunwyn Windham-Burke is already feuding with her RHOC co-stars. But is she on the outs with her own daughter? Braunwyn’s teenage daughter publicly trashed her. As fans know, her sobriety story is playing out on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 15.
Viewers watched the Bravo star and her husband, Sean Burke, renew their marriage vows. Last week, Braunwyn announced that she is a lesbian. This has caused shock among fans and her own family. It appears that some of Braunwyn’s kids are not adjusting well to their mom’s revelation.
What did Rowan do?
One RHOC fan took to Twitter to talk about Braunwyn’s storyline. The viewer slammed Braunwyn Windham-Burke. The person also noted the “pain and fear” revealed by one of Sean and Braunwyn’s daughters.
“Braunwyn needs to be in a rehab facility,” the fan tweeted. “Her husband should be awarded full custody. Braunwyn is not stable. Everyone could see the pain and fear on her daughter’s face. But Braunwyn. Braunwyn is only thinking of herself. She had a vow renewal and now she says she’s a Lesbian.”
Rowan Burke “liked” the tweet, which was posted on Friday, December 4. It appears that she agrees with the fan. The mother of seven has been vocal about her struggle with alcoholism. Braunwyn also revealed that she came to terms with her sexuality after getting sober.

On the Wednesday, December 9 episode of RHOC, the reality star spoke about her difficult road to recovery. She admits that she “made some mistakes” along the way. In that same post, Braunwyn said the episode was difficult to watch. Watching her recovery play out on the show has been hard on her.
“Tonight’s episode is another hard one, even self-filmed I opened up about something I wish I hadn’t shared,” Braunwyn Windham-Burke wrote in her Instagram Story. “That being said getting sober is hard. I made some mistakes, and I’m owning them and making amends.”
Earlier this month, Braunwyn came out as gay. But she’s had a complex relationship with her second oldest child. Their issues are not related to her drinking, rather her choice to date a woman or her “modern marriage” to Sean. Rowan previously shared an Instagram post with the caption: “F***. You. Mom.”
Braunwyn Windham-Burke asks fans for “understanding”
Obviously, her relationship with Sean will take a toll on their children. It’ll take them some time to come to terms with it. After Rowan’s social media outburst, Braunwyn Windham-Burke asked her fans for “understanding as we work through some challenging circumstances.” She also spoke out about mental health.
Earlier this year, Sean moved out of the family home amid the split rumors. An insider told Us Weekly that Rowan had left with him. But since then, Braunwyn revealed that Sean moved back home. As for Rowan, she “wants a little space right now” and that it is “important for her” to live away from home.
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
