Savannah Chrisley Reveals The Inspiration Behind Her Sassy Collection

Savannah Chrisley is opening up about her new makeup line, Sassy by Savannah. TV Shows Ace previously announced its long-awaited debut. She broke the internet with her successful cosmetics line. During an interview with Page Six, Savannah exclaimed that she did not expect her makeup line to sell out.

The Chrisley Knows Best star also revealed the inspiration for her line. The 23-year-old said that the moment that COVID-19 hit, she thought about women’s lives who were changed forever. No longer were they getting ready to go to the office. Most of them found themselves working from home.

Savannah Chrisley wanted to launch a cosmetics line that allowed her followers to get their best faces on. Just because they want glam, doesn’t mean they need 10 products. Cosmetic lines like Sassy by Savannah and Selena Gomez’s Rare collection have gone back to basics. Also, more women prefer Meghan Markle’s natural beauty over the contoured looks of the Kardashians.

“Before COVID hit, I was always traveling and I had an abundance of makeup and I was like, ‘You know what? What is a way I can simplify my routine?'” Savannah revealed to Page Six Style. “That’s how I came up with the Full Face Palette because it’s got 15 eyeshadows, two bronzers, two blushes [and] two highlighters, so it’s basically like your full face in one palette.”

Why she made it affordable

Makeup and beauty product prices are currently on the rise. And most celebrity cosmetic lines are pricey. But Savannah Chrisley wanted to keep her line as affordable as possible. The Full Face Palette costs $22, while the Eye Kits are $14 and the Lip Kits are only $12. The television personality was dedicated to her commitment to making her line accessible to her fans.

“I look at other lines and I see people say, ‘Oh my gosh, I wish I could have this, but it’s so expensive!'” she explained. “And I never wanted someone to look at it and say, ‘Well, I wish that I could have it.’ I wanted someone to look at it and say, ‘You know what, I can go online and order it literally with the click of a button.'”

And that’s exactly what happened. While most of Savannah’s followers had trouble with their orders, most were impressed with the easy online ordering process. As for Savannah, she was “surprised” to see how popular her products have been.

“We were able to put some more of the Nashville Lip Kits online and they literally sold out within 24 hours,” Savannah exclaimed. “So, yeah, it is all just insane to me!”

Savannah Chrisley shares some of her beauty secrets

The Southerner revealed that she likes to use the Savannah palette with Armani Beauty’s Luminous Silk Foundation or Maybelline’s Super Stay Full Coverage Foundation. Savannah Chrisley also swears by milk of magnesia. She primes her face with it before a long day of filming.

“I will put it on my T-zone where I get super oily, and literally my face is matte all day long and nothing moves,” Savannah said. “So that’s my fun little hack.”

Of course, she doesn’t recommend her fans to follow her lead. Savannah admits that she’s not perfect when it comes to beauty. She’s unsure whether milk of magnesia is good for skin, but she loves this little home remedy. According to Total Beauty, milk of magnesia is great for the skin because it absorbs excess oil and keeps it from looking shiny.
