Savannah Chrisley Reveals Why She And Nic Kerdiles Split

Savannah Chrisley is sharing more details behind her split with Nic Kerdiles. Two months ago, the couple shocked fans when they announced their breakup. The couple had a troubled relationship plagued with split rumors. They pushed their engagement back a few times.

Then, it was revealed that they were seeking counseling. The couple held back on their engagement plans so they could work on themselves. Now, Savannah is revealing what led them to end their relationship. She also shared where she currently stands with Nic to this day.

Savannah Chrisley made it clear that she’s still cool with her ex-fiance. She’s still holding out hope that they will get back together one day. The exes are on good terms and are still talking. In an exclusive interview with People, Savannah shared an update. She talked about their “unique” relationship and what she’s learned from their breakup. Savannah also revealed the real reason behind their split.

“Our situation is very unique,” Savannah told the outlet. “For us, it was a very adult relationship and you need to navigate it that way. Even when it ends. He was a part of my family and he still is. It’s just we’re both on different pages right now and we weren’t connecting. I don’t ever believe that you should have to change who you are, what you want out of life to be with someone. And that goes for him as well.”

The reality star claimed that neither of them could provide what they wanted during that time. So, they decided to go their separate ways. But she feels that if they did “end up back together, that was what was meant to be.” If they don’t reconcile, then she knows they will find the right people eventually.

Savannah and Nic ended their relationship

Back in September, Savannah Chrisley announced on Instagram that she and Nic had “decided to call it quits” just two years after getting engaged. The Southern personality claimed they have no bad blood.

“Nic and I have decided to call it quits,” she shared. “There’s no hatred between the two of us…and in all honesty….that makes saying goodbye even harder. We have nothing but love, respect, and admiration for one another but it’s time for us to move forward individually.”

As they work on their different journeys, Savannah said they often check in with each other.

“We are [on talking terms],” she told People. “It’s just we’re kind of the mindset that we allowed the public to inject their opinions maybe just a little too much. And we just want to figure out things on our own terms.”

Savannah joked and called their split “very 2020.” But she feels that they’re too young for marriage right now. Nic is 26, while Savannah is 23. They still have plenty of them to figure out what they want.
