’90 Day Fiance’ Angela Deem May Be Reunited With Husband Soon After This Election
90 Day Fiance fans have been wondering if Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi would ever get to live together. It seemed hopeless but after this year’s election, this may have changed!
Strained long-distance relationship
Angela a 55-year-old grandmother from Georgia fell in love with Michael, a 32-years-old from Nigeria. The two met and fell in love and wed. It seems like the two should have driven off into the sunset and lived in wedding bliss. This was not the case!
Michael and Angelia Deem struggle to stay strong
Angela and Michael applied for a K-1 visa but the application was denied. There are a few reasons this could have happened. One reason for the K-1 visa being turned down could be due to income. Angela doesn’t make enough money to sponsor her husband and her two DUIs couldn’t have helped either. The national pandemic has also been a big issue that has stopped a lot of travel to most countries.
Time to wed and show their love
This is when Michael and Angela decided to get married and try their luck on a spousal visa. This is the best attempt for the couple to get Michael in the USA to live with his new wife, Angela. “We still have to go through a spousal visa, and it can be denied. This could be all for nothing.”
The new policy comes out of the United States that affect Angela Deem’s marriage
On January 31, it was announced that the Trump Administration was expanding its travel ban to many Muslim-majority countries. Sadly, this included Michael’s country of Nigeria. This heartbreaking news came just days after Angela married Michael. The new guidelines made Michael’s chances of getting approved for a spousal visa dramatically reduced.
The irony of the situation
90 Day Fiance fans don’t feel sorry for Angela. She has stated her love and support for Donald Trump. A 90 Day Fiance fan on Reddit noted that Trump is someone “Who thinks Nigeria is a ‘s–thole country’ and has drastically reduced all types of immigration.”
The Reddit post continued, pointing out: “[Angela] is now facing the consequences of having helped to elect Trump [in 2016.]”
Angela Deem’s last hope
Last week, the American people elected Joe Biden to become the next President of the United States. One of President-Elect Biden’s pledges has been to make restoring American immigration a priority, both for our economy and for our role in the world. His campaign reports that he plans to immediately reverse many Trump policies on Day One of his administration when he takes office in January, per The Hollywood Gossip.
This means that Angela Deem’s biggest hope for her and her husband is with the Biden administration.
