Caryn Chandler Embraces Extra Slow Romance With Matt Roloff
Amy and Matt Roloff definitely seemed to be the centerpieces of Little People, Big World Season 21. Fans have watched Amy Roloff slowly move off of the Roloff Farms and into her own place. Naturally, Matt has some pretty big plans for the property moving forward. And, we assume his plans include his gorgeous girlfriend, Caryn Chandler.
Naturally, fans of LPBW can’t help but wonder what the future holds for Caryn and Matt. We know Amy and Chris Marek have plans to get married. Though those plans were delayed by COVID-19. But, what about Matt and Caryn? What kind of future does their relationship have?
We know Matt has entertained the idea of being married to Caryn Chandler. It, however, is unclear if she shares this desire. In fact, she’s admitted she’s pretty happy with embracing their “one day at a time” relationship. Likewise, she acknowledges their relationship moves at a “snail’s pace” and she’s fine with that.
Caryn Chandler and Matt Roloff have been an item for years
LPBW fans have a lot of opinions about Matt and Caryn’s relationship. We know they’ve been together for years. But, they knew each other even before Matt and Amy got divorced. She was a manager on the property for years. In fact, Amy Roloff’s memoir, A Little Me, suggests Matt and Caryn got close before the divorce. Amy noted the conversations they shared made her uncomfortable.
I saw messages, pictures, and other things that should not have been shared between people who just worked together and were still married to other people. I was devastated.”
Amy admits she felt pretty uncomfortable with Caryn being involved in events. She continued to explain: “Caryn is an employee, and is in a personal relationship with my ex-husband, and so it is still hard to invite Caryn to some of the family events. I’d rather just minimize the personal interaction. It’s not healthy for me.”
She’s happy with the slow pace
Now, it appears as if the relationship between Caryn and Matt Roloff is the real deal. She’s still a regular on LPBW. And, she seems to be involved in helping Matt make decisions about the property. It, however, doesn’t seem as if Matt and Caryn Chandler have plans to go down the aisle in the near future. Moreover, Caryn has openly told Matt she’s very happy with how slow their romance is.

During Season 21, Episode 5 of LPBW Caryn discussed their relationship. For starters, she told the camera she wasn’t sure Roloff Farms would ever feel like her home. Fans suspect this is because she’ll always see it as Amy and Matt’s home. Chances are pretty good she’s more interested in getting a place that is JUST hers and his. She doesn’t want the history of Amy attached to it.
I love the farm. I’ve always loved the farm. But it’s Matt’s farm and Amy’s farm, and so I think the fact that Arizona’s really our house and we decorate it together … that’s enough for us for now. That feels good.”
Speaking to Matt directly: “I still think it’s very healthy that we have chosen to have our relationship move at a snail’s pace.”
