Whitney Way Thore Asks Fans Not to ‘Harass’ Ex-Fiancé
Whitney Way Thore doesn’t want people to harass her ex-fiance and just wants to move on. “None of that negativity helps,” said the star. “I’m Just Trying to Move On.” The TLC star has a request of her followers.
Real-life drama plays out on-screen all over again
Whitney is preparing for My Big Fat Fabulous Life to premiere again soon. That means that Whitney must prepare for the end of her engagement, to play out for fans. Ahead of the new season, Whitney is asking her fans not to “harass” her ex-fiancé, Chase Severino. Chase had proposed to Whitney in October 2019 while they were on vacation in Paris. Their romance played out on My Big Fat Fabulous Life Season 6.
A rough time for Whitney Way Thore
This has been a tough year for Whitney. She learned that her ex-fiancé Chase Severino had cheated on her with another woman. AND the girl got pregnant. The TLC star announced their split in May “just to avoid the inevitable backlash and gossip,” per People.com
Chase also announced their break-up but seemed happy
In a social media post, he wrote, “I don’t even know where/how to start. I am very excited to announce I am expecting a child in the fall. Please see Whitney’s post for details.”
Chase went on to say “I have nothing but love and respect for Whitney and our time together. Thank you for always supporting us. As we now go our separate ways, I ask for privacy for Whitney, myself, and the mother of my child who wishes to remain anonymous.”
The new season seems like a wild ride
The end of their relationship, along with the arrival of Chase’s baby, is all a part of the new season. On Monday, Whitney went on Instagram to thank her fans for all their support. But she is also asking fans to please be respectful. “Please don’t harass Chase on my behalf,” Whitney wrote.
Time to regroup and move on
Whitney is trying to move on with her painful breakup and is embracing the new season of MBFFL, which is the premiere on Nov. 10, On TLC. Whitney was optimistic, even just a few weeks after their split, and said that she’s “looking forward to a more positive future.”
Whitney Way Thore still has a friend in Buddy
Heavy.com reported that Whitney has been spending a lot of time with her funny, well-known ex, Buddy. They posted that when Whitney was hospitalized for a panic attack following her breakup, Buddy was the one who picked her up and took her home. Whitney is grateful to have Buddy to help her through 2020.
