Caryn Chandler Doesn’t ‘Sit & Stare’ At Matt Roloff All Day, Enjoys Flying Solo

LPBW fans have been keeping up with all of the drama surrounding Matt and Amy Roloff. And, it certainly feels like there is a little tension between Matt’s girlfriend Caryn Chandler and Amy. For starters, Caryn didn’t seem to understand why it took Amy so long to move off of the property. We also know Caryn felt like she was competing with Amy for her boyfriend’s attention. At one point in time, she even insisted it felt like he was still married to Amy.

Now, we know Caryn Chandler got her first real dose of living with Matt Roloff because of the pandemic. They bunkered down together. And, considering they are dating, it made sense. She, however, thought it was important to make one thing crystal clear. Just because she lived with Matt… It didn’t mean she was spending all of her time with him. In fact, she spent a significant amount of time flying solo. And, she seemed to like it that way.

Caryn and Matt Roloff didn’t live together before the pandemic.

Little People, Big World fans know Amy and Matt Roloff lived together for over three decades. So, it makes sense that Season 21 would focus so heavily on Amy’s move. It was a pretty big deal to move away from a place you’ve lived at for so long.

We also know that Matt and Caryn met on Roloff Farms a number of years ago. Caryn was a manager of Roloff Farms before she started dating Matt. Fans also know Caryn Chandler was once asked if she would ever move into the farmhouse after Amy moved out. Caryn was quick to make it clear that wasn’t an option. There was no world where she wanted to live in that big house. Told her fans to “put a pin in that” idea.

The pandemic put the lovebirds under the same roof.

Because of the pandemic, Caryn Chandler and Matt Roloff did start to live together. During Season 21 Episode 4 of LPBW, the lovebirds even discussed living under the same roof. Caryn made it clear they spent some time together, but a lot of time apart.

I think we kinda hang out in the morning. We have coffee. And then we both sort of spend the afternoon doing this project or that project solo. You know, we don’t sit and stare at each other.”

Adding to the conversation, Matt Roloff felt their relationship was as strong as ever.
