On Saturday, Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard enjoyed some fall festivities. The couple took their two sons, Israel, 5, and Samuel, 3, to the pumpkin patch with the Dillard side of the family. This includes Derick’s mom, brother, sister-in-law, and nephew. Jill and Derick both documented the outing via social media. In their respective Instagram posts, they share a series of photos from the fun day.

Jill writes, “We had some fun family time at the @mcgarrahfarms pumpkin patch yesterday with some of Derick’s side of the family!

They reveal that they also had a picnic. There are a few family photos, as well as pictures of the kids picking out pumpkins and eating their lunches. Fans think that it looks like Jill and Derick’s family had a great day.

Jill Duggar talks about fall festivities

This isn’t the first time that Jill has shared about the fun things her family is doing this fall. She recently shared a picture of Derick and Samuel reading a fall book. She talked about some of their other traditions the family has. At that time, she said she was looking forward to going to the pumpkin patch.

Jill also wrote, “I love the weather here in Arkansas, frequent s’mores and warm fall drinks & the beautiful fall leaves!”

Because Jill is active on social media, fans will get to see more of the family’s fall traditions on her Instagram page. She often shares updates about what she, Derick, Israel, and Samuel are up to.

Do Jill and Derick Dillard celebrate Halloween?

As many fans of the Duggar family know, Jill and Derick are making their own life for themselves and their kids. Jill’s family adheres to strict conservative values. While Jill and Derick are religious, they have eased up on some of those rules. For instance, Jill wears pants instead of skirts or dresses. The couple also sent their son to kindergarten instead of homeschooling him. These things aren’t monumental by society’s standards, but they are a big deal in this family.

So, naturally, fans are wondering if the family plans on celebrating Halloween. In 2019, the couple dressed up for free food at participating restaurants. In 2020, things may look a little bit different due to Covid-19 restrictions. But, it’s possible that the family will celebrate Halloween in some way this year.
