Days of Our Lives is back after a short hiatus. The sudser didn’t air on Thursday or Friday of last week, but there was no shortage of drama. The news of Allie’s allegations against Tripp caused a ripple across Salem as residents took sides. That continues this week when the news continues to spread.

If you missed it, Allie (Lindsay Arnold) accused Tripp (Lucas Adams) of raping her and getting her pregnant. Online chatter suggests this is hardly the end of the story.

The DOOL promo proclaims “The Boys Are Brawling” this week in Salem. Who can fans expect to see at odds?

Jake Versus Chad on DOOL

Chad (Billy Flynn) did not give his newfound brother, Jake (Brandon Barash,) a warm welcome. In fact, the two feud over the DiMera empire. Things come to a head this week when the DiMera men have a tense confrontation.

Can Kate (Lauren Koslow) defuse the situation on DOOL?

Tripp Versus Charlie

Tripp has made several attempts to get to Allie to discuss their intimate encounter. Charlie (Mike C. Manning) is the newest Salem transplant. An intern at Titan, he involves himself when he sees Tripp hassling Allie.

Any soap fan knows that new characters don’t pop up randomly. Many DOOL fans speculate that Charlie is involved in the rape storyline somehow. But fans will have to tune in to watch it play out.

DOOL’s Xander Versus Philip

The DiMeras aren’t the only feuding family in Salem. Xander (Paul Telfer) and Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) are fighting over the Titan CEO position. After Xander schemes to get Philip arrested, Victor (John Aniston) gives Philip the solo CEO job.

To make matters worse, Xander walks in on Philip getting flirty with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey.) In the promo, Xander yanks Philip away from his lady love, but Philip likely won’t go down without a fight.

John Versus Tripp

Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) finds out what’s going on with Allie from Nicole (Arianne Zucker.) Though he threatens to kill Tripp with his bare hands, it seems John (Drake Hogestyn) gets there first! He angrily confronts the man accused of raping his granddaughter.

As Steve (Stephen Nichols) looks on in horror, John punches his son, Tripp, in the face! Spoilers indicate that the old friends find themselves on opposite sides, as Steve refuses to believe his son’s guilt.

The rape storyline on DOOL is already dividing fans. Do you believe Allie’s accusations or Tripp’s innocence? Drop a comment down below.
