‘Love Island’: Moira & Calvin Give An Update On Their Relationship Status
Love Island couple Moira Tumas and Calvin Cobb weren’t well-liked until the season finale. Fans thought they shouldn’t have ended up in second place. After seeing their second and final date before leaving the villa, viewers thought they were meant to be. However, that wasn’t always the case.
Moira wasn’t always clear on her feelings for Calvin. And he wasn’t sure about his feelings for her, especially after Casa Amor. But one thing was clear and that was the chemistry between them. The two tried to make a connection with the other islanders but then gave their relationship another chance.
Are Moira and Calvin still together?
Both of the former Love Island contestants have returned home to their respective hometowns. They’re currently staying with their families. Right now, the couple is working on a long-distance relationship. It’ll certainly be hard on them. They were used to spending 24 hours a day together.
In a new interview with After the Island, Calvin and Moira revealed their relationship status since the season finale. The couple doesn’t want to add any labels to their relationship. They want to take things slow and take it day by day. Both Calvin and Moira feel that their Love Island experiences allowed them to develop a bond that’s strong enough from “the outside.”
For the time being, the couple wants to get to know each other through FaceTime and text messaging. Calvin and Moira are hoping to book a plane ticket to see each other again. They feel the secret behind their successful relationship is open communication and taking things slow. The reality stars are hopeful that their relationship will survive the distance.
Moira wanted to leave Love Island, even though fans didn’t believe her
The model got a bad rap on the show. Love Island fans accused Moira of being nice to Calvin only to stay on the show. They felt that she was ingenuine on her feelings for the male islanders. But that backlash turned into support when Moira and Calvin got back together.
Moira had one of the most difficult times on the show. There was one point when she just wanted to leave Love Island altogether. Moira had several failed relationships in a row. It left her feeling emotionally drained. She wasn’t sure if she could open her heart to someone else again.

But it was fan-favorite Justine Ndiba who encouraged Moira to make it through the end. Even if it was difficult. Moira finally ended up with the right decision since they both felt a connection. Fans noticed that Calvin and Moira had chemistry from the start.
When he joined the villa, he chose Moira as his first date. The two had an instant spark. This led Moira to send her first partner, James McCool, home to recouple with Calvin.
