Donald Trump Tests Positive For COVID-19: Did ‘The Simpsons’ Predict This?
BREAKING NEWS: President Donald Trump and his wife First Lady Melania Trump have both tested positive for COVID-19. The POTUS took to Twitter just an hour ago to break the news.
“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!” Trump shared on Twitter just before 1:00 a.m. on Friday morning.
This is a serious development for the United States.
According to CNN, this is a pretty serious development. First of all, Donald Trump is in the final stretch of his reelection campaign. Furthermore, President Trump is 74-years-old. This puts him in the highest risk category for severe complications because of the virus. The virus which has reportedly killed over 200,000 people within the United States. And, over a million people around the world.
CNN confirms Donald Trump was last in public on Thursday afternoon. He had just returned to the White House after attending a fundraising trip. Reporters have confirmed the POTUS did not show any signs of being sick as he returned.
Unfortunately for those hoping this is a hoax, Navy Commander Dr. Sean Conley, the President’s physician, has also confirmed the diagnosis. Conley reassured everyone both Donald Trump and his wife were well at this time. And, they would be quarantined within the White House. Moreover, citizens of the U.S. could take comfort in knowing Donald and his wife would be monitored constantly.
The White House medical team and I will maintain a vigilant watch, and I appreciate the support provided by some of our country’s greatest medical professionals and institutions. Rest assured I expect the President to continue carrying out his duties without disruption while recovering, and I will keep you updated on any further developments.”
Donald Trump had already previously taken to Twitter to announce the decision to quarantine before getting the positive rest results. He explained one of his close aides — Hope Hicks — had tested positive. Because of his close contact, it was necessary to quarantine regardless of the test results.

Ironically enough, this news comes just after Donald Trump pokes fun at his competition for wearing face masks during the recent televised debate.
Hope Hicks, who has been working so hard without even taking a small break, has just tested positive for Covid 19. Terrible! The First Lady and I are waiting for our test results. In the meantime, we will begin our quarantine process!

As news breaks that Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have both tested positive for COVID-19, the world reacts. And, as morbid as it might seem, many have started to point out that The Simpsons predicted this was going to happen. And, The Simpsons tend to be pretty spot on with their predictions.

Several Twitter users have shared a still from an episode of The Simpsons. The still features Donald Trump’s character in the series dead in a coffin. Those sharing the photo are insisting The Simpsons has always been pretty accurate when it comes to these kind of predictions. So, did the series predict Donald Trump would test positive for COVID-19?
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like The Simpsons predicted this.
Now, we’ve done some digging. And we’ve read the responses to these tweets with this image. Diehard fans of The Simpsons are coming out of the woodwork to confirm there has never been an episode with Donald Trump getting COVID-19 or Donald Trump ending up in a coffin. In fact, the diehard fans of the series noted that this photo of Donald Trump in a coffin is a doctored photo.
The individuals debunking the photo proceeded to point out that this isn’t the first time this photo has made rounds. They noted the photo went around social media and TikTok once before. It had a similar message then. People asking if the photo meant The Simpsons was predicting Donald Trump would pass away.
That, however, doesn’t appear to have been the case then. And, it doesn’t appear to be the case now. There are a few individuals insisting that fake or not they have taken the photo and ran with it. Thus manifesting The Simpsons prediction to be fact and come true even if it never really exited.

Morbidly enough, there are a lot of individuals clinging to the tweets about The Simpsons predicting Donald Trump would test positive for COVID-19 to celebrate. Regardless of how a person does or doesn’t feel about the POTUS, a lot of people admit those celebrating the news are leaving a bad taste in their mouth.
