Jill Duggar Surprises Fans with Birth Control Revelation
Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard continue to surprise fans with revelations about their personal lives. They are certainly no longer following the strict rules put in place by Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.
The couple, no longer featured on Counting On, share their revelations through YouTube videos. The latest one involves talks about birth control and being paid on Counting On.
Jill Duggar Dillard Is Using Birth Control
Counting On fans know the Duggar family is strict when it comes to clothing, courting, and birth control. However, Jill continues to share how she is breaking away from the family. Some of it started with her wearing pants, which has been a no-no for the women in the family from the beginning. Of course, Jill is no longer the only Duggar sister wearing pants, but she continues to push the boundaries.
The latest has been the revelation that she uses birth control. During a Q&A video with fans, Jill and Derick talked about how they want to plan for a family. They already have two sons, and they do want more. Before that, they want the timing to be right, which means birth control is the best way forward.
Yet, she makes a note that she uses non-hormonal birth control. The focus is on planning pregnancy better and not changing anything about her cycle or her body. She stated she doesn’t want the risk of abortion or damage to the baby after stopping birth control, so it had to be non-hormonal.
Jill and Derick Talk About Money and Debt
The Dillard family finances have been a big question for fans. Derick has routinely hinted that he and Jill never received a penny from their time on 19 Kids and Counting. Jim Bob has controlled the finances from the series, leaving some of the family struggling. It sounds like they have some of the money now.
During the video, Derick talks about how the couple had to get lawyers involved. Once that happened, Jill got the money she was due from her time on the series.
This money is important to the two, but they claim it’s not for their own reasons. They want their children to go to college without debt afterward, and the money from the series will help them do that.
The Dillards Will Continue Their Revelations
This is the third video in the series of Q&As. There are still plenty more to come. PEOPLE Magazine shares that in the second video, the two talked about Jill’s decision to wear pants and why she got a nose ring.
While Jill has changed in terms of looks and personal growth, she hasn’t changed in terms of faith. The Bible remains the standard they live by.
