‘Prison Break’ Star Wentworth Miller Disappears From Social Media
As the possibility of a Prison Break Season 6 gains traction on social media, fans wonder where in the world is Wentworth Miller? After all, another season of the FOX series is highly unlikely if Wentworth Miller isn’t onboard. Could you imagine Prison Break without Michael? We sure couldn’t!
Does Wentworth Miller have any social media accounts?
Earlier this year we reported that Wentworth Miller confirmed he would be interested in another season of Prison Break. He, however, tried to bring fans back to reality. He pointed out on Instagram that a 2020 release of Prison Break Season 6 was highly unlikely. And, he explained it was because producing a season of a series is something that takes scheduling and planning. He confirmed there was no schedule or plan or script in place for Season 6. So, if it was going to happen, it wasn’t happening this year.
Now, this does mean that Wentworth Miller DID have an Instagram account earlier this year. He wasn’t as active as his co-star Dominic Purcell. But, he did make the occasional post. And, some of his posts were about Prison Break.
Unfortunately, some time between January of this year and now Wentworth appears to have deleted his Instagram account. Either that or he has deactivated it. And, we can’t help but wonder if it is because he was overwhelmed with being flooded about Prison Break.
The actor also received backlash for his sexuality.
As ABC News confirms, it was in August of 2013 that Wentworth Miller came out as being homosexual. And, it was a pretty big deal at the time. This was largely because he came out swinging.
Wentworth came out when he penned a letter to St. Petersburg International Film Festival. In his letter, he declined their invitation to be a “guest of honor.” Miller explained he could not attend the Russian event because he was a “gay man.”
I am deeply troubled by the current attitude toward and treatment of gay men and women by the Russian government. The situation is in no way acceptable, and I cannot in good conscience participate in a celebratory occasion hosted by a country where people like myself are being systematically denied their basic right to live and love openly.”
According to a separate piece by ABC News, coming out was NOT easy for Wentworth Miller. He admits that he once tried to end his life because of his sexuality.
“The first time I tried to kill myself I was 15. I waited until my family went away for the weekend and I was alone in the house and I swallowed a bottle of pills,” Miller recalled.

He added that the next few days were a blur. But, he returned to school at the beginning of the week like nothing happened.
Some fans find his sexuality surprising.
Unfortunately, Wentworth Miller’s sexuality comes up as a topic of conversation in Prison Break fan groups from time to time. Every time someone finds Prison Break for the first time… They also might discover that Wentworth Miller is actually homosexual. Now, some fans of Prison Break do not care. But, there are others who take a huge issue with him being interested in men.
Now, this negative reaction to his sexuality sometimes found its way to Wentworth Miller’s Instagram. And, we can only assume that wasn’t easy for him to deal with.
Does Wentworth Miller have a Twitter?
The Prison Break star does have a verified Twitter account. But, it does not appear as if he has ever used it. In fact, the account has absolutely no activity. So, fans aren’t going to get any updates from the actor via Twitter.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like fans will be able to use social media to find out of Wentworth Miller knows anything about Prison Break Season 6.
