‘DWTS’: Carole Baskin Hopes Commercial Helps Find Her Missing Husband
No one was too surprised when Carole Baskin’s first number for DWTS was to the song Eye of the Tiger. But the viewers at home, and Carole herself, were surprised when a commercial about her missing husband ran just before it was her time to shine on the dance floor.
Carole Baskin didn’t let the commercial rattle her.
Now, we’ve already reported that Carole Baskin responded to the commercial. And, she revealed that the commercial was brought to her attention shortly before going on stage to dance. Some suspect this was an attempt to rattle her. But, it didn’t. And, now? Well, it seems as if she’s speaking out on the commercial once more. And, in doing so, she’s doubling down on the fact that she had nothing to do with the disappearance of her husband.
This is despite a large portion of the world believing she did have something to do with it. In fact, so many people believe she killed her husband a song and dance was creating around it. And, the song went viral on social media.
She admits finding her missing husband would be relieving.
During an email conversation with CNN, Carole Baskin opened up about the commercial further. Turns out, she would consider finding out the truth about her missing husband an added bonus to being on Dancing With the Stars.
“I believe their actions are just a publicity stunt, but if it helps us find Don, then that will be a huge relief,” She explained in the email to CNN.
To date, no one has been charged with the disappearance of her husband. And, they aren’t sure whether he is alive or dead. The release of Tiger King on Netflix did cause a lot of new tips to pour in. And, the case will remain open because authorities do not close cold cases.

Insists she had nothing to do with his disappearance, would love to find him.
Carole Baskin insists she had nothing to do with the disappearance of her husband. In fact, she revealed in a very long blog post that she was not happy with the way Netflix portrayed her in Tiger King.
There are not words for how disappointing it is to see that the series not only does not do any of that, but has had the sole goal of being as salacious and sensational as possible to draw viewers.”
She added: “As part of that, it has a segment devoted to suggesting, with lies and innuendos from people who are not credible, that I had a role in the disappearance of my husband Don in 1997.”
Unfortunately, the world may never know if what Carole Baskin says about her husband is or isn’t true. But, the case will remain open until it is solved. So, what did you think about the commercial? Sound off in the comments.
