‘VPR’ Fans Slam Stassi Schroeder For Focusing On ‘Cancel Culture’
Stassi Schroeder is looking forward to a fresh start. The Vanderpump Rules alum wants to address her firing on The Tarmon Hall Show. This will be her first televised interview since being let go from the Bravo series. Back in June, the network cut ties with the former fashion blogger.
Stassi will appear on the daytime talk show where she will talk about cancel culture. A sneak-peek for the interview hasn’t been teased yet. So far, Tamron Hall has only given fans a glimpse into her upcoming conversations on Twitter. The host also revealed what the former reality star plans to discuss on the show.
Stassi will address her past racist comments, sort of
In an interview with TV Insider, Tamron Hall explained what her viewers can expect in her interview with Stassi Schroeder. Of course, the former podcast host will speak out about her past racist actions and comments that led up to her firing. But she wants to mostly focus on “cancel culture.”
“We’re able to dig into people who want to admit that they’ve made mistakes,” Tamron revealed. “Stassi Schroeder from ‘Vanderpump Rules’ believes she’s a victim of cancel culture after saying some pretty awful things.”
Stassi made controversial comments about #OscarsSoWhite and the Black Lives Matter movement on her Straight Up With Stassi podcast. She claimed that Black people are the only ones who complain about not getting enough Oscar nominees. In addition, Stassi accused her former VPR co-star, Faith Stowers, of a crime she did not commit.

“But what is her story of redemption?” Tamron asked the publication. “What does she want the public to really know about her?”
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Stassi wants to focus on her future. Just days after her firing, Stassi and her fiance, Beau Clark, confirmed they’re having a girl. She also hired a new PR agent. Stassi is desperate to clean up her image after the firing.
Vanderpump Rules fans want Schroeder to focus on racism instead
Stassi Schroder may be excited about her interview. But fans can’t say the same. Many of them said that she should focus on the bigger issue, which is racism. Stassi’s firing came amid the nationwide racial protests. VPR fans accused Stassi of playing the victim on her apology tour.
“She literally tried to cancel someone’s freedom,” one user tweeted.
“So, she’s basically going to play the victim and not take responsibility,” another fan wrote.
“She’s not talking about racism?” a confused fan asked.

Kristen Doute previously discussed “cancel culture”
Long before, Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute addressed the “cancel culture” movement. During her appearance on the Hollywood Raw podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn, she made her thoughts on the subject clear. Kristen feels that she never should’ve been fired. Instead, she feels that the network exploited her.
“I never got to speak to anyone, which is really hard because I would have liked to have a conversation,” Kristen said.
But then she claimed to have taken responsibility for her actions.
“I think the biggest thing that I’ve learned is that I have so much to learn,” Kristen said. “I know that’s super cliche and a lot of people say that but it’s absolutely true because I think that I thought I understood racism but now I’m really learning about unconscious bias.”
However, Kristen stated she isn’t a “f***ing saint” and thinks the producers should’ve handled her behavior for her. She feels that Bravo would’ve filmed the controversy on the show. According to Kristen, the network should have taken “initiative and have this conversation” instead of firing her and her former co-stars.

“I know this probably sounds super selfish for someone that’s canceled to say they don’t believe in cancel-culture,” Kristen said before adding that she was “forced to have difficult conversations” on the show and to “show the public that we are doing the action.”
It’s likely that Stassi will share Kristen’s similar sentiments. The firing is said to have brought them closer together. Watch her first-ever interview on The Tamron Hall Show on Thursday, September 17. Check local listings for details.
