‘RHOBH’: Teddi Mellencamp Learned To ‘Embrace’ Her Stretch Marks
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp took to Instagram to show off her bikini body. The photo wasn’t about bragging rights. The fitness fanatic wanted to share an important message with her followers.
While she clearly looks great in the photo, she claims she still has stretch marks and loose skin. But she’s learned how to embrace those parts of herself after giving birth to her daughter, Dove.
Teddi shared two photos on Instagram on Saturday, August 15. The first photo shows her in a color-block bikini, while the other is a close-up of her loose skin and stretch marks hidden underneath the high-waisted bottoms.
Teddi Mellencamp is proud of her body
The RHOBH star wanted to show off her bikini body on Instagram. It’s no secret that she looks incredible after giving birth six months ago. Teddi Mellencamp has found peace with her body. The 39-year-old reality star said she wants to “embrace” her stretch marks and loose skin.
Teddi gets questions about why she doesn’t have stretch marks. “Oh, I got these bad boys, I just embrace ’em,” she wrote in the caption. Lifting the waistband of her bikini bottoms, she said, “Loose skin? Got it. I just wear my high-waisted ‘kinis and embrace what’s going on.”

In the caption, she admitted that it’s too easy to compare her weight loss to others. Instead, she wanted to shift the focus onto her progress. Teddi reminds herself of the work it took to reach this point. The accountability coach told her fans that it took her several years for her to reach that point that she feels comfortable with her body.
“And even so, I can snap a pic feeling confident in my bikini but the reality is the stretch marks and loose skin are there,” she added. “I’ve learned to love and embrace them because they tell my story.”
As per Daily Mail, Teddi went on a jog in Los Angeles with her oldest daughter, Slate, as well as her dog.
RHOBH star receives support from her followers
Teddi Mellencamp received plenty of support from her followers. Even her fellow Bravo stars took to her post. As per Inquisitr, Tamra Judge of The Real Housewives of Orange County praised Teddi for her real and candid post.
“Good for you for being honest!!!!” she commented.

Meanwhile, Teddi’s fans loved how honest she was being. Most of them called the post brave.
“Thank you for being you,” one follower wrote. “Open, honest, NORMAL.”
“Thank you for keeping it real!” another follower added. “You’re beautiful no matter what!”
This is a nice change from the hate that she received for her recent actions on Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Teddi received death threats from fans. She took to Instagram to ask fans to stop the hate.
