Will Lala Kent And Randall Emmett Return To ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 9?
Lala Kent and her man Randall Emmett are sharing their thoughts on Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules. The couple first went public last season. It was the first time that the Hollywood producer appeared on a reality show, aside from Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.
Randall admits that he didn’t feel comfortable in front of the cameras. But he’s willing to return to the show with his young fiance. Bravo hasn’t confirmed the upcoming ninth season. But Randall still shared his thoughts on his return. He also explained why he felt awkward being on the show at first.
Randall Emmett confirms his return to VPR Season 9
In an interview with Us Weekly, Randall Emmett and Lala Kent will film the new season of Vanderpump Rules. While he wasn’t comfortable with being in front of the camera, he will be a part of the show. The producer prefers to work behind the scenes, as per The Blast.
“It was an experience that I’m not comfortable doing because I like to be behind the scenes,” Randall explained, as per Reality Blurb. “The plus was that I got to see my fiance a lot which I never … during the filming [I didn’t].”

But he doesn’t mind the process of filming the Bravo series. He’s on board for the ninth season if it happens. That means Randall will get to spend a lot of time with Lala.
“I really enjoyed it at the end. In terms of coming back, if they ask me to do it again, I’m sure I’d [return],” Randall confirmed. “It was fun and I’ll do it again if they want me to.”
The Midnight in the Switchgrass producer became especially close to Jax Taylor and Tom Schwartz. The eighth season focused on their carefree and relaxed friendship.
Randall wants to support Lala Kent
In the past, Randall wanted nothing to do with the show. But now, he feels a responsibility as the fiance of Lala Kent. He wants to support what she does in her career, just like she does with him.
“You want to support your partner,” Randall continued. “My fiance supports all the films I go off and do or when I have to leave, so I feel like it’s my obligation to support her career.”

As TV Shows Ace previously reported, the future of Vanderpump Rules Season 9 is currently up in the air. Season 8 didn’t end on the right note. Most of the cast members ended up arguing which each other, and friendships unfolded. With the coronavirus pandemic and Bravo firing Stassi Schroeder and Kirsten Doute, the new season is unclear.
In their interview with Entertainment Tonight, Lala said that the show can’t film right due to the public health crisis.

“Our show is based on a restaurant and there’s no plan to open those restaurants anytime soon,” Lala said. “So, we’re just as in the dark as anyone else. I think we’re just waiting, waiting this virus out. The main goal is to keep everybody healthy, so as long as we’re doing that, like, I’m ready whenever they’re ready and, yeah, I have no idea what the future holds — as far as the start date.”
