Joy Duggar On Last Weeks Of Pregnancy: ‘Being Patient Is Hard’
Joy Duggar is about to become a mom again! She and her husband Austin Forsyth currently share two-year-old Gideon. And, their baby girl will be arriving in the next couple of weeks.
In a new Instagram post, Joy shows off her baby bump. Duggar fans are quick to notice that her bump is low. So, they predict that the baby will be here sooner than expected. Of course, Joy will continue to keep her social media followers in the loop.
Joy reflects on the end of her pregnancy, writing, “How are we only a couple of weeks away from meeting our baby girl?!? We couldn’t be more excited!🥰 Being patient is hard, but I’m trying to cherish these last days with just the 3 of us!💕”

Joy Duggar and Austin Forsyth are ready for baby’s arrival
As TV Shows Ace reports, Joy and Austin have been busy getting everything ready for the baby’s arrival. Two of Joy’s sisters, Jana and Jessa, went to her house to help her set up the nursery. That’s another thing that’s now checked off the list.
In her most recent vlog on YouTube, Joy revealed that one of the last things to do was install the carseat. And Austin did that while Joy was filming the vlog. So, it sounds like the couple is ready to welcome their daughter to the world whenever she’s ready to make her entrance.
Joy and Austin have yet to pick out a name for the baby. But, they decided they won’t be naming her until she arrives anyway. Joy recently admitted that she hadn’t given it much thought yet.
She also shared that she will be having a hospital birth. While some of the Duggars have hospital births, some of them opt for home births.
Joy shares update from doctor’s appointment
Joy went to a checkup this week as she’s 37 weeks pregnant. At her appointment, the doctor told her that she’s dilated to 2 centimeters and 80% effaced. Plus, she’s having Braxton Hicks contractions. So, Joy’s fully aware that it’s almost time for her daughter to arrive.
Duggar fans are making predictions about the baby’s arrival on Joy’s Instagram post. Many of them think that the baby will be early, especially since Joy already seems to be making progress.
