Former Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute wants to use her platform for good. Literally. She returned to her Cameo account following the Bravo firings. She’s using the social media app to donate portions to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
This comes after she spoke out about the firing. Last month, the reality star admitted that she has “so much to learn.” Kristen has admitted her ignorance. In her Instagram apology, she promised her followers that she will “do better.” Now, Kristen is trying her hardest to be a better person. Read on to learn about her plans for her Cameo videos.
Former Vanderpump Rules star returns to Cameo
Kristen Doute made her grand return to Cameo. She told fans that for $90 she will record a personalized message from her house. As per The Blast, Kristen will also donate the proceeds to the ACLU, a non-profit organization that promises “to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to all people in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States.”
The James Mae designer went on a social media hiatus following her VPR firing alongside Stassi Schroeder. But Kristen is back on social media and wants to do good. She even left a new message for anyone who wants to purchase one of her personalized messages. The former SUR-ver has made a slow return to social media following the Bravo drama.

She shared a photo from her trip to Kentucky to visit Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor. The photo caused some controversy since Brittany hid her stomach. Fans speculated whether if she was pregnant. Brittany has since denied the rumors over the weekend when she showed off her belly in her latest social media post. As for Kristen, she wants to move on from the drama and do some good in the world.
Kristen Doute takes a knee during BLM protest

Alex showed the clip from the peaceful evening protest in Los Angeles. He revealed that they’ve attended the event for 60 days. Saturday marked the 60th day of the protest started by Alex and Kristen’s friend from Venice, California. The Black Lives Matter protest reignited in the U.S. following George Floyd’s death in May.
She still has “so much to learn”
Kristen Doute spoke out for the first time since her firing in June. On the July 15 episode of the “Hollywood Raw” podcast, she admitted the mistakes she’s made.
“I think the biggest thing that I’ve learned is that I have so much to learn,” Kristen said during the podcast, as per People. “And I know that’s super cliché and a lot of people say that, but it’s absolutely true because I think that I thought that I understood racism, but now I’m really learning about unconscious bias; learning about anti-racism.”

Later in the interview, she said she’s “doing the best that I can” and that “at the end of the day I’m not a f***ing saint.” But she wants to “do something every day that makes this a little bit better for everyone.”
But Kristen wants everyone to know that she’s “human and I make mistakes all the time.”
