Kim Kardashian is reportedly meeting with a divorce lawyer. This comes after Kanye deleted a tweet overnight about divorcing the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. The couple has hit a rough patch for the past few months. At first, they tried to avoid each other during quarantine, but it was difficult.
So, the couple retreated to separate sides of their mansion. Then Kanye brought their four children to Wyoming with him. Kim seemed supportive of Kanye’s running for president. But that quickly faltered when he ranted during his South Carolina rally over the weekend. On top of that, Kanye’s rants on Twitter have worsened their relationship.
Kim Kardashian reportedly plans to meet with a divorce lawyer
Following Kanye West’s Twitter rants, Kim Kardashian wants to speak with a divorce lawyer. The social media star wants to get everything in order following his meltdown. Not only did he comment about aborting their first child, but he also had several Twitter rants. An insider told Us Weekly that Kim wants to keep all of her options open, including the possibility of divorce.
“Kim has been meeting with lawyers to explore and talk about divorce,” the insider told the outlet.

The couple has already been through their share of difficulties. Another insider told Us Weekly that Kim wants to make their marriage work. But now she feels lost. The insider said that the reason why the 39-year-old didn’t move forward with their divorce in the past was “because of their children.”
Another insider says that the Skims founder has been trying “so hard to help him, but now Kim and her family feel as though she’s really crossed a line by negatively talking about them publicly. She feels helpless at this point.” It all started when Kanye attended his first presidential campaign rally in South Carolina on Sunday, July 19. He revealed personal details about their marriage, including their desire to almost terminate Kim’s pregnancy.
Kanye West tweets then deletes about divorce
As per Daily News, the rapper deleted a series of overnight tweets. Kanye West revealed that he’s been trying to divorce Kim Kardashian for the past year. Kanye’s latest Twitter rant fell on the heels of early Wednesday morning. But the tweets were immediately deleted after their initial posting, according to Reuters.
“I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Waldorf for ‘prison reform,'” the Grammy-winning rapper wrote.
“Meek is my man and was respectful,” Kanye continued. “That’s my dog Kim was out of line.”

He didn’t elaborate on what happened between Meek and Kim. But he was referring to a criminal justice summit attended by the reality star and rapper Meek Mill back in November 2018. These tweets are just the latest of headline-making rants posted by the rapper.
On Monday, July 20, Kanye alleged that Kim tried to have him locked up for medical reasons following the launch of his presidential campaign. But he also revealed that his new album, Donda, drops on Friday, July 24.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West wed in May 2014 and share four children – North, 7, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 14 months. She took to her Instagram Stories to address Kanye’s bipolar disorder.
