Khloe may be a natural brunette, but she feels like she identifies best as a blonde. The 36-year-old reality star just revealed why she went back to brown. Fans talked about her ever-changing hair color on Thursday, June 25. Khloe caught wind of the online discussion and shared the details behind her change.
Khloe Kardashian simply wanted “something a little different”
As per People, Khloe Kardashian took to Twitter to discuss her latest hair color change. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star responded to a fan account who created a Twitter poll. The user asked other Kardashian fans to choose between “blonde Khloe” and “brunette Khloe.”
Khloe chimed in and tweeted, “Can I vote too?” The fan responded, “Only if you vote brunette. Otherwise, no.”
“I love your bossy a**,” Khloe joked, saying, “Reminds me of myself.” Then a fan asked the Good American founder which answer she chose.
“My heart is with blonde,” Khloe explained. “But sometimes a girl just needs to change. I’ll always go back to blonde I just think I need a little something different right now.”

Another fan asked her how she keeps up with the maintenance of bleaching her hair. Even Khloe admitted that “it’s so f***ing annoying” sometimes. Since she couldn’t maintain it in quarantine, she went back to her natural hair color.

Fans have been mixed about Khloe’s reaction to the poll. Some of them love her platinum blonde look, while other fans wish she would go back to her dark locks. While most of them love her natural hair color, others slammed the KUWTK star for getting help from her colorist during the stay-at-home orders in California.
Kardashian fans call out the reality star for seeing her colorist during the quarantine
Back in May, Khloe Kardashian made headlines when she showed off her “bronde” shade on Instagram. While most of her followers praised her new look, others wondered how she got her hair done. Most California residents were ordered to stay at home and hair salons were closed during the time. That’s when some speculated whether Khloe’s stylist visited her at home.
“Why can Khloe Kardashian get her hair dyed in quarantine then??” one fan asked. “Cause I’m about to up and walk to Calabasas to see her stylist.”

However, an insider told People that Khloe’s latest look wasn’t exactly new.
“The photo was taken a while ago,” the anonymous source revealed.
Khloe’s longtime colorist, Tracey Cunningham, also revealed that Khloe’s new color was a throwback photo. She colored her hair with a special Redken color formula.
“It has faded a bit cause we did it a while ago and I love it!” she wrote in an Instagram post.
