Demi Lovato and her new boyfriend Max Ehrich went on a romantic getaway. They visited the Joshua Tree National Park over the weekend. It appears that their relationship is getting serious. Even the engagement rumors have been swirling.
On Monday, June 15, the singer shared a series of Instagram photos from their weekend trip. The slideshow was packed with plenty of PDA. The 27-year-old pop star and the 27-year-old soap star kissed at the top of a hill. There’s also an adorable photo of Ehrich snuggling the dog’s singer, Batman. Per People, the former Disney star didn’t hold back on showing her PDA-packed photos. Demi Lovato took to Instagram to share the romantic snapshots. Most of the photos show the couple kissing and smiling in the desert. Lovato revealed the details of their spontaneous trip. She was working on a secret project, but then found herself in Ehrich’s arms while taking in the beautiful scenery.
“Had an amazing weekend in the magical desert of Joshua Tree with my love @maxehrich,” Demi Lovato wrote. “I went to work on a project but it was nice to get away for a couple days.. thank you for making me so happy my dear.. I love going on adventures with you.”
Lovato also credited her friend Lyndan Coleman for taking the photos. She included in the caption, “p.s. thanks @lyndan99 for taking these sappy pics and bein our third wheel this weekend!!! You rock.”

Ehrich also took to the comments section of the post, writing, “I love you to the furthest galaxy and back again what a weekend.” He also included some love-filled emojis. The Young and the Restless star also took to his Instagram page to share some similar photos. In the caption, he wrote, “magical weekend in Joshua Tree with the love of my life @ddlovato.”
Lovato responded, “You are mine” with a series of heart-eyed and weary face emojis. The couple’s interaction is what has the engagement rumors swirling. It appears that Lovato and Ehrich are very much in love and happy in their relationship.
Young couple is “really happy” with each other
The “Cool for the Summer” singer and the actor started dating in March. Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich confirmed their relationship with a kiss in Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande’s music video for their song “Stuck With U.” Since then, the couple hasn’t quieted down about their love for each other.
As per People, Lovato shared a photo on her Instagram Story of her new boyfriend kissing her on the cheek. The couple appeared to be soaking up the sun. In the text overlay, Lovato revealed that she finally found someone who accepts her for who she is.

Earlier this month, Us Weekly reported that Ehrich wants to propose to Lovato. He’s had this idea in his head for months now. And it appears that Lovato already knows. She’s on board with the idea, according to an insider. Not only are they in love, but their families get along. So it makes complete sense to take the next step.
“They’ve been talking about getting engaged,” an insider told the outlet. “Her family really likes him. He’ll likely propose within the next couple of months, but when quarantine is over. Demi has been aware and in on the fact that Max wants to propose and is so excited.”
