Sofia Richie and Kylie Jenner are still friends after Scott Disick split. The couple ended their relationship after three years of dating. Sofia made an effort to get to know Scott’s family. She even became good friends with Kylie. The two models have become close over the years.
An insider previously revealed to Us Weekly that Sofia wanted to get to know the Kardashian-Jenner family. She supported their individual endeavors prior to the couple’s split. The source confirmed to the outlet that Sofia and Kylie are still very much close. It turns out they’re still good friends.

Sofia Richie and Kylie Jenner are still close despite the model ending her relationship with Scott Disick. An insider told Us Weekly that their friendship has not been affected. The young women “have had a super close relationship” over the years. Sofia hasn’t done anything to Kylie that would jeopardize their friendship. The 21-year-old model and the 22-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder developed a close friendship long before Scott entered the picture.
“Kylie and Sofia have always run in the same circle and are very close in age, so they’ve bonded a lot through the years,” the insider explained. “They’ve always been in the limelight, lived very similar lifestyles, and grown up around a lot of the same people.”
Us Weekly confirmed on Wednesday, May 27 that Sofia and Flip it Like Disick star ended their relationship after three years. The couple started dating in 2017 and struggled when the model clashed with Scott’s ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian, who is also the half-sister of Kylie Jenner.

Kourtney was uncomfortable when Scott introduced Sofia to their three children, Mason, 10, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 5, during a September 2018 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Kourtney and Sofia eventually mended their relationship, which made Kylie feel “more comfortable spending girl time with Sofia again,” another source told Us Weekly back in July 2019. The split comes after Scott’s brief stay at a treatment center to address “past traumas” with his mental health struggles and the death of his parents.
Model addressed the 16-year age difference with Scott Disick
There were other problems in the couple’s relationship. For instance, Sofia Richie and Scott Disick’s age-difference could have played a role in their split. She addressed their 16-year age gap in an interview with Cosmopolitan U.K., which published on Thursday, May 28. Sofia didn’t care what people had to say about their unconventional relationship.
“I just don’t care what people think,” Sofia told the magazine. “[It] doesn’t bother me because I’m very happy. Why would I let someone from the middle of nowhere ruin that for me?”
Sofia also revealed if she gets along with Scott’s 41-year-old ex-girlfriend. Sofia simply told Cosmopolitan, “I mean, just be nice. There’s no reason not to be nice.” She also mentioned that she’s been close to the Kardashian-Jenners, including Kylie Jenner.

“No one’s a new friend,” she casually said, referring to Kylie Jenner. Sofia wanted to focus on her future endeavors rather than her relationship. She told the magazine that she wants to be a “bada** triple threat” in 2020.
“When things were first starting, I was discouraged because everything I did was ‘Lionel Richie’s daughter,'” she told the publication. “But it’s hard branching out into my own person when I have such a powerful artist as a father. My dad was always like, ‘Once you find your own thing, you’ll move away from that,’ and I feel like over the past couple of years, I found my lane in life to go in the direction I want to go.”
She’s launching her own bikini line and is focused on getting into acting and activism. Sofia wants to bring more attention to mental health, especially since she deals with severe anxiety.
